Fate (Jinyoung X Nayeon)

It's (Not) Okay

Nayeon was already full. She only ordered strawberry drops for the late midnight snack while Minhyuk had his late dinner in front of her.

It was an hour more before curfew and Minhyuk hadn't spoken anything about the sudden dinner outing they were having. He was still engrossed in finishing his half cooked steak.

Nayeon proceeded to drink from the straw as she still stared at Minhyuk eating. Visible eye bags were formed under his eyes and she could tell Minhyuk was just the same as tired as her.

"We should get home early and rest, can you tell me already, what's the occasion tonight?" Nayeon started the first conservation they had after their food arrived a while ago.

Even though he looks tired, Minhyuk still showed his excited grin, he looks happy.

They rarely got to eat outdoors in this kind of restaurants, because of him.

He cares for Nayeon and he doesn't want his immature fans or some bad and false news come out because of their relationship.

He had already burdened enough Nayeon.

But tonight he made sure the close was clear, he booked this restaurant to tell a happy yet exiting news to her.

"Oh!" He chuckled for a second as he put down his utensils and rubbed his lips clean from any of the steak sauce.

"I honestly don't know where to start." He grinned wide, and Nayeon was beginning to be more curious about the thing that made Minhyuk excited at this time of night.

"I'm all ears." Nayeon said giving Minhyuk all her attention.

Minhyuk could never tell how grateful he was to have her.

"I got casted!" He exclaimed like a kid.

Silence.

Nayeon stared clueless for a while processing the sudden news.

"Casted? Like in a drama?" She asks one by one.

"Yes!" Minhyuk grinned showing his perfect modelling teeth.

"Wow! That's great!"

Truthfully said, Nayeon doesn't know how to react. It was really too sudden. But still she was happy seeing her boyfriend excited like this.

This expression was the same expression he had when he first got casted for his modelling work.

"I know right, it feels like a dream come true." He breathed out reaching out his hand to caress Nayeon's hand in the table. Drawing little circles at the back of her hand.

"I'm happy for you." She faintly smiled entwining their fingers together.

It was silence then, none of them seems to know where this conservation was going.

But actually they just acted so.

"When will you begin filming?" Nayeon finally let out the question that was bugging her.

"This Sunday I will be moving out, I have to start packing for three months staying at Ilsan." He informed somehow couldn't face her properly.

He knows that their relationship was tough because of the long distance relationships they're having.

"That long?" Nayeon sighed.

It only had been a month Minhyuk was by her side after his overseas photo shoot, excluding his days working, and his going to go away again.

Minhyuk nodded pressing their palms together.

"We can work this out right?" He asked assuring.

Nayeon bitted her lips. She doesn't know how to say. Her heart felt heavy somehow, she doesn't want Minhyuk to go, but
