During lunch, A small, short girl walked over to Kyle and Celeste and sat down. Kyle said hi, and they started talking about an upcoming youth event. after a while, the girl got to what she wanted to say. She looked at Celeste, and asked her question.

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked, and Celeste looked confused. "Last week," she explained. "You just left. You guys didn't stay for the message or anything. Were you sick?" Kyle started to interject, but Celeste spoke over him.

"I just...had a moment." She said. "I-I guess it was too much. I don't like new situations, and I got scared." It wasn't a lie, but it was metaphorically impossible to understand. The girl nodded her head for a second, then held out her hand.

"I'm Sam." Celeste took her hand and introduced herself. "SO," Sam began after a minute. "This friday-which is today-I'm having a girls only night, over at my house. You wanna come?" Celeste had to think about it. Here a girl who she had never met before, inviting her to a girls night. She wasn't sure how she felt about it, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to go.

"No thanks," Kyle said seriously. "I'm okay." Sam hit him, and he started laughing. He always had to lightne the mood, and he was good at it. All three of them laughed for a second, then calmed down. The bell rang, and they all started to head off.

"Actually," Celeste said. "I would like to come. Is that okay?" Sam looked at her like she was crazy.

"No, I invited you for no reason," Celeste playfully pushed her into the doorway, and they went to class. Celeste noticed that all three of them had the same class and wondered why she never noticed Sam before. Probably because she wasn't paying attention. The teacher was tired, and gave thema  study session. The three almost automatically put their desks together and started talking.

"Celeste," Sam started. "Why did you come last night? not that I care, you just never struck me as the type to do that. Come to church I mean." Cekeste smiled sheepishly, and answered softly.

"I-I owed Kyle one." Kyle looked at her, and gasped.

"So, you just went because you felt bad?"  He was very upset, and Sam immediately regretted asking the question. Celeste regretted answering it right away. "Wow, and I thought you actually wanted to come. Fine. I don't care. You think you're SO much better than Christians, don't you? That you're somehow higher because you act differently? You-"

"Kyle," Sam said sharply, and Kyle saw. Celeste had tears pouring down her face. He calmed down and apologized, but she didn't hear it. She ran out, trying to hide her tears, and

Sam got up. "You suck," She said before running after
