Chapter 10

Grace's POV

I woke up in a daze not realising where I was, I looked around the room only to see Steve and Danny sitting by my bedside. Danny was asleep and Steve was lost in thought...

Grace: (In a quiet, weak voice)
"... Steve..."

Steve looked up and relief rushed over his face as he held my hand. I then looked over to Danny who was still asleep,I chuckle then took one of my pillows and threw it at Danny. He woke up the second the pillow hit him in the face.

Grace: ( laughing hysterically) Wake up, Danno.

Steve was quietly laughing at the fact that I threw a pillow at him and the comment I made after.

Danny: (smiling) I am going to get you back for that, but for a teen who got shot about 4 hours ago you look a lot better.

Grace: My shoulder still hurts but other than that I do feel a lot better

Steve: (still laughing) I will call Kono and Chin to let them know your awake

Steve's POV

I went into the hall and called up Chin who was at HQ trying to track the car that was responsible for the drive by shooting...

Chin: Hey Steve, how is Grace?

Steve: well she is awake

Kono: that is good

Steve: what do you you have

Kono: you probably want to come down here to see for yourself
