Corey's P.O.V

It was the next morning. I got out of bed and got my beanie and put it on. I was just wearing my shorts right now. I grabbed my shirt and slipped it on. I grabbed my phone and went down stairs to have breakfast. I saw my mom making pancakes and bacon. I sat down on my chair. My mom smiled at me. My dad's face was stuck in his newspaper. My mom put a plate in front of me. Written in bacon it said use protection. "What the hell?!" I asked standing up from my chair.

"Well you and Laney have been dating for long tim-" I didn't let her finish

"I don't wanna do that now... I like her for not having... um...it." I didn't want to say it out loud

"Okay." She said. I wasn't really hungry anymore.

I went to the groj and started to tune my guitar. I saw the groj door open. It was Kin and Kon. Dang it. I wanted to see Lanes. I sighed."Hey guys." I got up from the stage and sat down on the couch

"Hey Corey where's Laney?" Kon asked

"Not really sure I'll text her." I got my phone out and started to type.

Me: Hey u up?

Lanes: Yea on my way. At the groj door.

I saw the groj door open. It was Laney. I smiled at her. She smiled back. I went over to her and hugged her. I kissed her cheek and got on the stage. "What's our next gig Corey?" Kin asked

"I got one at Mayor Mellow's birthday bash. Everyone will be there. So you guys in?" I asked

"Totally." Laney said

"Great how bout you guys?" I asked

"Yup." The both giggled

"Why so giggly?" Laney asked

"Cuz look at the sign above you." Kin said laughing

I looked up. The sign said use protection. I started to blush. I could tell Lanes was blushing a little two. "Damn it mom !" I yelled

"Its fine Core." She said quietly

"No its not. I'm not even ready yet. Wait are you?" I asked her

"Of course not." She stated

"That's good....i think." I said

"Yeah it is so I don't get pregnant. Then the band won't get ruined." She said

That was a good thing we agreed on. I didn't need to be a dad yet. I started to go take the latter and take the sign down. Good thing it was paper. Otherwise I would hurt them.

"Any song ideas?" Lanes asked

"Nope not yet." I said

"But Core." She started to whine

"Shhhh stop stressing out." I grabbed her in a bear hug

"Aw." Kon said

We looked at Kon after our hug. I went to the back to taking notes. Maybe Lanes should make lyrics? She did good last time.

"How bout you right lyrics." I told Laney

"I don't know." She said

"Come on. Your lyrics last time were good. More than good. Amazing." I told her

"I guess." She said

"Yay." Kon yelled hugging her
