Camila was standing by her locker, grabbing her English book. She was pretty early to school, and Melanie had to go talk to her Spanish teacher about the homework she had last night.

"Hey Camz." A familiar raspy voice said, snapping her out of her thoughts. Camila then turned around, and saw Lauren. Looking beautiful as ever. "Hey Lo." Camila said, smiling widely at the girl. "You're early today." Lauren said and Camila chuckled, "Yeah, Melanie wanted to get here early so she could talk to her Spanish teacher." Camila explained and Lauren nodded.

"Oh." Was all Lauren said. Camila stared at the other girl, her smile flattening as she saw the look on Lauren's face. She seemed deep in thought, as if she were trying to say something. "You okay?" Camila asked curiously, and Lauren nodded.

"Yeah, I wanted to ask you something." Lauren said, sounding a bit nervous. This made Camila nervous. "What's up?" Camila asked curiously, "So homecoming is coming up, and well I was wondering if-" Lauren started but was soon cut off by a loud voice. "Yo camren!" They heard Dinah yell from across the hall. Camila's heart was racing, knowing exactly what Lauren was trying to ask her.

A part of her was glad Dinah interrupted, because she really didn't know what she would have said to Lauren. But the other part of her, kind of wanted Lauren to ask. "Hey Dinah." Lauren said lightly, acting as if she wasn't just about to ask Camila to homecoming. "Hey Cheechee." Camila said softly, deciding to do exactly what Lauren was doing.

"You okay? Y'all just look like you ran a marathon." Dinah said, laughing at her best friends. "Yeah, we're fine." Camila said and Lauren only nodded. "Okay, so I need your guys help." Dinah started, they were about to ask her what was up, but Ally came rushing up to them. "Guys I need your help." Ally said and Dinah rolled her eyes.

"Wait in line, garden gnome." Dinah said and Ally gasped, "Bitch." Ally mumbled, causing their eyes to go wide. "Well damn Allysin okay." Lauren mumbled causing Camila to giggle.

"What's up guys?" Camila asked curiously, "I need help asking mani to homecoming." "I need help asking Melanie to homecoming." Dinah and Ally both said simultaneously. "Aren't you both like with mani and Melanie?" Lauren asked curiously.

"Yes, which is why I need help, making it perfect." They both said at the same time again. "Can you stop?!" They both asked each other again. "Seriously stop." They both said again. They both huffed frustratedly, causing Camila and Lauren to laugh.

"Okay, me first." Dinah said and Ally nodded. "I need help asking mani to homecoming, because I need it to be perfect." Dinah explained and Ally nodded. "I need help with the same thing." Ally said as Camila and Lauren nodded.

"Just ask them." Camila said bluntly, "Yeah, no need to make it extravagant. They're already both expecting to go with you guys, so just ask." Lauren said, and the two girls bit their bottom lips nervously. "So just ask?" Ally asked, "Like no huge sign, or radio outside of her window?" Dinah asked and Lauren shrugged.

"I mean, if that's what you want. But it's kind of extra. They already know you guys are gonna ask." Camila pointed out and Lauren nodded in agreement. "What's the rush though, homecomings not for another two weeks?" Camila asked, causing Ally and Dinah to stare at her in disbelief. "Two weeks is not enough time!" Dinah practically yelled.

"We've been so caught up in getting our feelings together, that none of us realized homecoming was coming up!" Ally added loudly and Camila held her hands up in surrender. "Hey, I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was such a big deal." Camila joked and Dinah rolled her eyes. "It's the hugest deal! We're popular Mila, we have to have dates for homecoming. Besides I heard this year the school is totally embracing, homecoming queen and king, homecoming queen and queen, and homecoming king and king!" Dinah said excitedly and Lauren smiled.
