Hearing from my Lord

I cannot go a day
Without hearing from my Lord
I must hear what He has to say
To constantly remain in one accord
Each and every day
I cling on to His Word
It is crucial for me to stay
Embedded in my Lord
Without His Word
I am without strength
For His very Word
Gives me life and breath
All concerns and distractions
That cloud the mind
Must be dealt with quickly
And be left behind
For I must hear clearly
The directions from above
In order to be accurately
Led by my Lord
