Chapter 52

Ross POV

I've been catching up with Maia for like 2 hours and honestly it's been fun. I walk Maia home and give her a goodbye hug and tell her that we should hang out again. I then walk back home. I'm still angry at myself for forgetting my anniversary with Laura but she will understand right? I mean if she had a best friend she hasn't seen in forever I wouldn't be jealous even if they hang out on our anniversary. I walk inside to see everyone in the family room. I guess they aren't pissed at me anymore.

RL: hey guys
Everyone except Raura: Hey Ross
RL: Where's Laura?
V: She went out
RL: what? with who?
Ry: this guy
RL: guy?! who guy?!
Ro: dude calm down.
V: his name is Cody. He's been best friends with Laura since they were 3.
RL: Oh...

Suddenly Laura walks inside with ugh Cody. She's smiling and laughing a lot.

Everyone except Raura&Cody: hey Laur
L: hey guys. Oh right I forgot to introduce everyone. Guys this is Cody. Cody this is Riker, Rydel, Rocky, Ryland, Ellington or you can call him Ratliff. And thats Ross.
Cody: Nice to meet all of you. I'm a big fan of your music.
Ry: Why arent you a sweetheart?
L: so Ross did you have fun?
RL: um... yeah I did actually.
L: great. Well guys can Cody stay for movie night?
Ri: of course.
Ro: yeah he seems cool.
L: Thanks.
Ry&V: Laura wanna help with snacks?
L: sure.
Ry&L&V: (walks to the kitchen but gets stopped)
Cody: do you guys need help?
V: no we're fine.
Ry: Thanks for asking Cody.

Cody sits down with Riker, Rocky, Ryland and Ratliff. I go into the kitchen where the girls were.

RL: hey laur. um... can we talk?
L: uh... sure.

Laura and I walked into the other room to talk. Now I understand why Laura has been pissed about me hanging out with Maia.

L: so whats up?
RL: why'd you invite him?
L: because he's my friend and he was there to hang out with me and make me feel better while you were out with her.
RL: she has a name.
L: I don't get whats the big deal. I invited a friend over so what?
RL: so what? he's a guy and you might have him as your 'cuddle buddy' besides it's our anniversary we're suppose to be together and not have your friend ruin it
L: Excuse me? (starts to yell) You were the first one who left me on OUR anniversary. You were the one who wanted to hang out with maia on OUR anniversary and you're blaming me for inviting a friend and him ruining it?! ROSS IF THERE'S ANYONE WHO RUINED OUE ANNIVERSARY IT'S YOU. Got it! you left me to hang out with Maia. so whatever (walks away)

Damn I definitely messed up.
