Laura POV
Vanessa, Ross and I waited in the waiting area for my mom's doctor. We've been waiting for about 5 minutes and he's still not here. I've been standing up pacing around.
V: Laura calm down. Just sit!
RL: Laura (gets up and puts his arm around me) just relax
L: RELAX?! CALM DOWN! HOW CAN I CALM DOWN WHEN OUR MOM IS IN THERE?!
V: Laur please.
Finally the doctor came
Doctor: Ellen Marano?
V: yes? is everything okay?
L: please tell us everything is alright
Doctor: I'm sorry to say this but she's gone. The water went into her lungs then she hit her head very hard.
L: (begins to start crying) she's gone?!
V: (hugs Laura and tries to comfort her) Thank you doctor.
Doctor: no problem. (walks away)
I can't believe our parents are actually gone. I need them in my life. I need my parents.
L: Vanessa where are we going to go? what are we going to do? I need mom! I need dad!
V: Laura. Everything is going to be okay. I promise.
Henry: Laura and Vanessa Marano?
V: that's us who are you?
Henry: I'm your parents lawyer
V: oh alright. so what can we help you with?
Henry: You're parents have signed will and you both will have a guardian due to both of your losses.
L: and who might our guardian be?
Henry: she will be here at any moment. just sit down and make yourself as comfortable as possible
I wonder who our guardian is. But I don't care. I honestly can't find a reason to care anymore. I just need my parents. I couldn't take it anymore. Then I remembered Ross was here. Damn I totally forgot about him.
L: Ross thanks for staying but you can go home now its fine.
V: yeah Ross. thank you for staying here with us but you can go. You need to get some rest. Plus you're family must be looking for you.
RL: no it's fine. I wanna be here for both of you. Besides I'm not going to leave you both here at a time like this. Especially when you have no idea who your guardian is.
L: Thanks Ross
Moments later our guardian came. Me, Vanessa and Ross all stood up. We then see a lady standing in front of us. For some reason she looks very familiar.
