Three months earlier....

"Hey Bea....how are you today?" The girl pushed her hair behind her ear and whispered a hi.
"Oh look. It's my personal Google." Savannah came by and linked her arms with mine. I linked in with Beatrice's arm.
"How many shades does it take to get your lips so pale." Jamie came in beside us laughed. I laughed along thinking it was funny. I stopped and pulled her to the side. I grabbed her books and mockingly read it. But what I didn't know it was her journal.
"Paul Reynolds said hi to me today. I felt so wonderful and fluttery inside." I fanned myself and sighed,"I love the way his hair looks so soft and his eyes sparkle everyday." Jamie snatched the book from me and looked inside.
"Oh you poor dear. You Think he has any interest in you. But the thing is he doesn't he likes my dear doll Lienna. Right darling?." She walked ahead with the journal dangling in between her thumb and index finger. She walked with a hand on her hips to the trash can and held the journal over it.
I walked forward in my six inch heels and miniskirt and replied,"Yes. He asked me out yesterday." I turned and looked at the teary eyed Beatrice "and I said yes."
Jamie dropped the journal in that trash can and Savannah poured her tea inside. They walked away giggling but I felt something in my gut. I turned to Beatrice and she was silently crying. I turned away.
I thought I was nicer.
I tried back to her and walked towards her. "I don't care about you but I don't want to have a bad rep. So here's ten dollars. Your good at writing get yourself a new journal." I held out the ten dollar bill and she shyly took it.
I turned away and she said,"Thank you."
"Don't mention it...."I whipped to her and said,"Literally."
