Whether it's love or simple admiration
Around you the world moves forward
But your heart has stopped
In silence you feel no pain
Only depth
A simple question
You have overlooked too long
Answering all that plays on your heart
Will it change a thing?
Actions nor words no longer speak
As your destiny becomes velleity
Wishing wells and dandelions
No longer hold your hopes
And the silver lining fades
As the clouds wisp away
But still you pray
For a day more assured
