- one month later-

Tylers pov
My phone rung as i sighed and answered it.

" hello?"

" hey tyler. Im sorry for taking forever" jenna started as i sat up on the couch

" hey. How have you been. I missed you so much jenna" i rushed.

" i missed you so much too tyler. Wondering if you wanted to come over and hang out. Maybe get back together?" I smiled widely as my siblings looked at me weird.

" yes yes. I would love to do that. Ill be over in 10 minutes " i gushed happily.

" alright see you in a few. I love you tyler".

" i love you too jenna" i said as i hung up and stood slipping on my shoes.

" ill see you guys later. Ill be at jennas" i gushed happily as they smiled and i left. I hopped in my car and started towards jennas house. On the drive there i saw a car slightly swerving a bit. I get a little anxious but try and shrug it off. Paying too much attention to the car i didnt notice a big truck with metal poles on top swerve in front of me as i try and stop but i ended up slaming into the back of the truck. I jerked forward hitting my head on the stearing wheel. A few seconds later i felt a huge log truck slam into the back of me as i felt everything crush as i let out a loud scream of pain. I felt the logs go into the back of the car. I cried out as i looked up to see the metal poles fall threw the wind sheild and i felt them hit my skin and rip threw it. I started seeing spots as i quickly grabbed my phone seeing my phones screen shattered. I begun shaking knowing that i wasnt gonna surive. I called jenna sobbing

"Tyler?"

" j-jenna. I l-love you. Ive b-been in a car accident a-and im barely holding on " i gasp as the hot tears ran down my face. I felt what seems to be another big truck hit the and folding my car even more. I screamed as the poles dug deeper and i felt the air bag go off. Very delayed but after that i felt darkness come over me as lost feeling of everything.

Joshs pov

I was running down the highway as i go up a hill and see a car smashed into a big truck. I looked to see a log truck slam into the small truck. I quickly took out my phone and called 911. After i hung up another log truck raced down the street and slammed into the accident. I check the road ways and quickly crossed and went to the truck driver. He got out holding his neck. I rushed to the other log driver and he got out. I looked over at the car and felt my heart drop. Its almost all the way folded but it looks almost like tylers car. I felt my phone buzzed and see it was jenna as she sobbing.

" jenna whats wrong"

" hes dead josh. Tylers dead. He was crushed to death in an accident.

" j-jenna. I think im looking at his car right now" i said feeling my stomach fliping. I walked to the drivers window and felt my throat swell up and i covered my mouth letting the tears fall. There sat a crushed tyler with poles sticking out of his bloody torso with the air bag pushing him into a sitting position. I slowly reached in and felt his neck but there was no pulse. Tyler joseph was dead. I begun to sob as i backed away from the car to the drivers.

" what wrong boy?"

" thats my friend.. hes dead" i cried out as the guy had me sit on the side of the pavement and gave me water. The  ambulance showed up with the fire department and cops. I watched as they pulled the trucks and freeing tylers car. They opened the car and pulled out his limp lifeless body as i looked away not being able to see my bestfriend like that. The cops drove me to the josephs house as i walked in looking at them.

"Josh? Are you ok?" I shook my head. I took a deep breath calming down.

" i was on a run and i saw an accident. One truck with poles on it, a car and two log trucks almost folding the small car in half. " i sighed.

" is the person ok? " Madi asked

" why are you so upset over that? Yea its sad but its not anyone we know. " i shook my head at Jay.

" It is. "

"Who?"

Zach asked. I looked at them sadly.

"T-tyler" i pushed out as they all gasp and over there mouths.

" please tell me hes ok. " maddy said as she begun to cry. I took a deep breath. 

" hes dead... i saw him myself" i said as they all bung to cry. His mom falling to the floor as her husband held her to try and comfort her at the terrible news. There was a knock as i opened it to see jenna with puffy eyes. She fell into my arms sobbing and i held her. Today was the worse day of my life. Ill never be able to get the image of my best friend out of my head of him like that.

Today, April 18th 2000, Tyler Robert Joseph was declared dead.
