Kara's POV
"You what?!" Alex screams at me.
"I took my glasses of, I didn't want to lose my job Alex! You don't understand how important that job is for me, it makes me feel normal!" I scream back on the edge of tears. "Oh Kara" Alex says a bit sweeter when she sees I'm almost gonna cry. "I didn't mean to Alex, I'm sorry." I say crying now. "It's okay. Kara I just need to have a little talk with Cat tomorrow. So she won't tell anyone." She says while she hugs me tight. "Okay, but don't be to hard on her sis." I say. "Can we still watch Gilmore Girls?" She says sweetly. "Of course!" I say smiling again.
We watch the whole first season and then Alex leaves, to help Maggie with something. I just love those two together. They are soulmates, Alex has "she who amasses you every time. "
And Maggie "she who loves you deeply." Written in silver on their wrists. Alex got it when she was 12. I have "she who always knew." Written in gold kryptonian letters under my left breast.
How many times I would trace the letters of the long lost language I once spoke, but I will never forget. A few tears fall.
I get to bed and fall into a restless sleep.
