heartbreaker chapter 2

*Melissa's POV*

I bumped into Jessica. She spread nasty rumors about me and bullied me constantly. Almost every boy in our school drooled over her but gosh she was such a bitch. I never understood why they drooled over a person like that. It's not like it was a secret that she was a horrible person.

"Watch it you bitch! " Jessica shoved me making me trip backwards. "You better watch your back Melissa. Believe me. You'll pay for this."

"What is your deal?? Why are you being so mean to her" Emily came to my defense and of course was met with a dirty look, after that we just walked to school. I walked into class everyone was whispering to each other, Jessica probably was going around telling people about this morning. She always made herself look like a victim.

* forward to the end of school * (A/N a lot of cussing is in this chapter)

"Hey wait up i need to tell you something", I looked around and saw my boyfriend. Wow I hadn't seen him all day. We have been together for about three years now. He was always there for me but lately he's been different, I don't know how to explain it but he's distant, I know midterms are approaching so I don't think much of it, but, I have to admit sometimes I think he's doing it intentionally..
"Hey I haven't seen you all day"
..As soon as I said that I could see him get nervous. "yeah about that..." He said nervously.
What is he hiding from me.... " I think we should breakup. "

WHAT.. wait what did he just say?????
"What are you talking about? What's wrong, what's making you say this?" I seriously cannot believe what I'm hearing.. He isn't even looking me in my eye.. He's not answering my questions.
"Look at me Jake, answer me.. why?"
He looked up at me. I could see guilt written all over his face.
"because I'm dating Jessica now." He looked away.
"I'm sorry Emily it just happened out of nowhere, I never intended things to turn out this way"
I couldn't believe what i was hearing Jessica told me i would pay but i didn't think it would be this.. My eyes started forming tears. "How could you do this to me Jake." I yelled at him. "You know all the drama she has caused for me, you know how much she torments me"
He didn't even have the balls to look me in my eyes as I said these things.
"i never want to see your face again, fuck you Jake"

I must have said that too loud because people were staring. I fucking hate him he can go to hell right alongside Jessica.
This day just keeps getting better and better.
