Chapter 17

Melissa's POV

Jake had started off being a great boyfriend for the first year we were together, then shortly after he had become abusive sometimes while we were dating.
It didn't last long but he still wasn't all that kind to me, Then once i started taking off on vine he started being nice to me I always thought it was because he started appreciating me again but honestly I should have known it was because i was becoming famous. He probably wanted to use me and shut me up by treating me nice... Now that I look back on it I was such an idiot. How could I not see it he was using me for my fame. Obviously he didn't want me telling everyone what he did, clearly that's why he changed again

I got into the car and started driving. I was tearing up.. I really thought he loved me but apparently I was the only one who felt like that. I was driving for a while then stopped in front of this really nice park.

It was so beautiful, there was a water fountain and heart shaped bushes around it. There were little flowers all over the park.

I got up and started walking, I walked for a while then came to a stop to what looked like a forest.

I walked into the forest and came across a little area it was so pretty, way better than the park. It had a waterfall that led into a pond with koi fish in it. There were blossoms trees in the area. Then I saw a little gravestone behind a blossom tree. I went over and it said,

"In memory of Billy Bob Jr"

"Aw" I said out loud

I noticed there was a bench and on the side were craved on little mermaids.

"This place is so magical"

I sat down. I heard birds chirping.. it was peaceful. I had been there for a long time just thinking in silence eventually I decided to go home.

*At the house*

I opened the door and all eyes were on me.

"Where the hell were you?!" Aaron said breaking the silence.

"None of your business!"

"Hey Mel can I talk to you in the kitchen?"Matt said

"Sure"

We walked into the kitchen and Matthew said "What's wrong?"

"Jake is here and so is Jessica he said he broke up with her and that he was stupid to let me go." I said

"I realized that he was using me for my fame"

"You don't say" Matt said

We laughed at how he was trying to cheer me up. Matt was my guy best friend he was always there for me when I needed him.

"Okay well let's go back with them"

We went back in and I went to go sit next to Cameron and Matt went to sit next to Carter. They started making vines about dancing then Matt started twerking damn he twerks better than me.
Cameron looked at me and he could tell something was wrong, "Melissa can I talk to you in private"
Cam and I went into the next room and i told him everything that happened between Jake and I
"I swear I'm going to kill him if i ever see him again" he yelled
"it's okay cam i'm over him now"
"No it's absolutely not okay, why did you never tell me melissa, I could have helped you" he said teary eyed
I'm sure the thought of someone laying a hand on his sister is painful to think about, especially since we were each others biggest support system after our dad passed, we were closer than ever before
"i'm sorry cam i just hate to worry you"
"well next time if anyone ever lays a hand on you, you have to tell me, promise?"
"i promise cam"
we headed back to the living room and i see cameron sit next to a new face.
I noticed a girl next to Cam.

"Hey Cam is that Madison the girl won't stop talking about?"

"Mel shut up and yeah this is Madi"

"Hey Madison nice to meet you I know we don't really know each other but do you want to come with me and meet up with my friend?"

"Yeah that would be great"

"Okay let's go bye guys"

We walked out and got in the car and turned on the radio.

"So Madison do you like Cameron or nah hmm?" I said while lifting up my eyebrows.

(A/n that reminds me there was a vine about Gilinsky and a fan and she yelled "yo Gilinsky they are called eyebrows because my eyes be browsing at your fine ass!)

"Yeah" she said blushing.

"Well I'm not supposed to be telling you this but he likes you too"

"Really" she said like a little kid finding out they were going to Disneyland.

"Yup" I said popping the P

A song played on the radio and it was Story of my life be One Direction. I loved that song so much!

We sang along to it then when the beat dropped we rolled down the windows and screamed "STORY OF MY LIIFFFEEEE!"

I could already tell it was going to be a fun night.
