So as I told you in the last chapter, I have 2 daughters and a boy that is currently still on the way. Well, my daughter Heather is 6 years old. She's my oldest daughter. She is very caring and helpful. Heather can be quiet at times, but when she's with her friends, she's loud and crazy. My second daughter, Ally is 4 years old. Jerry and I are very cautious of her. You might be wondering 'why?', well, Ally was born with ASD. ASD stands for Autism Spectrum Disorder; Ally has problems with communication and language. Ally understands more when using gestures. It's kind of like charades, but doing it every day. We take Ally to a child care center, every Saturday, so they can help her become a responsible adult. Ally has been going there for a few months now and it actually helps her. Ally understands a bit without using gestures such as greetings and asking to see if she wants to play, but not a lot. Even though Heather and Ally are totally different, I treat them the same.

I look at the clock, 6:38. I can feel the dark circles from under my eyes. I noticed that Jerry already left for work. I put on my slippers and went into the kitchen to make myself a nice, warm coffee. The house was silent and the lights that were turned off were making the house look dark. I opened up the blinds to see the sun still rising. I could hear Heather's alarm clock going off, from her room. I started to make breakfast for the girls. The aroma of pancakes and bacon filled the air. A few minutes later, Heather walked into the kitchen, fully dressed. "Good morning mom" Heather said yawing. I looked at her "good morning dear". She grabbed a plate and served herself. Abruptly, Ally ran out of her room, still in her pajamas. I sighed picking her up as she giggled, carrying her to her room. As I cleaned Ally up, I took both of the girls to school.

As I drove home, I noticed that next door The Genome's old house was finally sold. I remember the Genome family was a very odd couple. They were rarely home, but you will definitely know when they are there. They have 2 older kids, Mandy and Shawn. Mandy was a very quiet person who was rarely around. Shawn on the other hand was a troublemaker. He got arrested at least 4 times. He also is the reason why the family moved. I remember he thought something was wrong with the president, so he decided to destroy the town. He even set a fire to an abandon house. I have no clue why, but they kicked him and his family out of the state. I think they live somewhere in Nevada now. While I was staring at the movers and their truck, I noticed one in particular. The man was about 6 foot. His sweat showed his abs though his shirt to show that he was very muscular; he probably worked out every day. He had light blue eyes and sparkling dark hair. The man had a defined jaw line with stubble that showed he shaved. He seemed mysterious from a far. I shook my head and drove my car into my garage. I went to go grab the mail from the mailbox after I parked my car into the garage. The man saw me and stared at me with a smirk as I walked. There was something about him. Something that made me felt different. Then I saw a Hispanic woman, running up to him as she kisses him on the cheek. Why was I feeling something? I am married to a wonderful, brilliant man for Pete sake. I finished what I was doing and went back inside.

I was at the stove, cooking some pasta for the family and I. "So I see that the sign is removed next door" Jerry said drinking a cold glass of water. "Uh...yea.-the couple seemed nice" I responded. "Oh did you meet them?" he said. "No.. I saw them when I went to go get the mail" I said. "Did they have any kids with them?" Jerry asked. "Not that I know of, but he looked married" I said, slowly stirring the noodles in the sauce. "We should meet the lovely couple tomorrow since I'm off work" Jerry said. I stopped stirring "Why?". "Why?" he repeated "because we always do with new neighbors. Who knows? They may be good people to be friends with." Ally and Heather ran into the kitchen. Jerry picked up Ally "Were you hiding from me?" Jerry smiled. "Maybe" Ally giggled. Jerry laughed and kissed her on the cheek "come on! Let's go get ready to eat for dinner". Heather grabbed her father's hand as they walked to the dinner table. My heart started to skip a beat. I have no clue why I'm nervous about tomorrow. I just wonder how I'm going to react when I'm at the house.
