Chapter 5

Anna's POV

Silence, silence is the only thing that's killing me right now. We are still on our way to his house and he didn't say a thing after he say those hurtful words. Well he is worst than I imagine, I thought the news that are on news papers are just rumors but no. After thirty minutes of a silent and awkward ride the car stopped in front of the very luxurious house or should I say mansion,perhaps. The only expression that can describe this is 'WOW' . "Are you going to stay inside the car or what?" I went back to my realization when Xander snap at me. "oh...umm sorry" with that I followed him like a dog following his owner in order not to be lost. This house is very huge, How can he even live here alone? I mean that must be very lonely, right. 'Because he has girls everynight here Anika' my mind murmured, oh yeah right. How can I forget that? he's a womanizer and he also said it himself. "Amanda will show you your room, we will not be sharing room. Only when our parents here. Do you understand?" Gosh this guy is getting into my nerves, is this his way to talk to other people? does he hate me that much? even sharing room with me he doesn't like. It actually hurt me but I don't want to show  him that I'm weak. "OK that will be better, cause I also don't want to share a room with a jerk like you" I snapped back. He furrowed his eyebrows and look annoyed " Excuse me?" the only thing he say. He look shocked the way I responded to him, seems like no one did it before. Treat you right Mr.Xander Stocker. "You finally come back dear. Welcome back how was it?" an old lady run to Xander and hug him so tight. I think she's around 65 years old. "This is Amanda she will show you your room" he introduced me to her forgetting what happened earlier and live us alone. I was about to follow him again because I don't know this house, when Amanda suddenly talk "Such a great pleasure to meet you ma'am. I'm Amanda by the way" she greet with such a genuine smile. "thank you, you too it's a pleasure to meet you too ma'am" I greeted back giving her the same genuine smile. "Oh please, don't call me that Amanda will do ma'am" am not really used to call older people by only their names cause it sounds like rude but as she wish I will call her Amanda. "Since you forbid me to call you "ma'am" Anna will also do" " Well, I think your very tired of today's event I will show you your room ma'am, I mean Anna this way please" I feel light within with Amanda, thankfully she's here so I can have someone to talk to. This house is really big there are lots of rooms here. "And here we are, this will be your bedroom, hope you will like it  I design it myself" "oh really......thank you so much" Amanda open the door for me and the room is makes me awe.

"OH WOW!! I feel like I'm in the hotel. Thank you so much and my fave color is purple, so thank you" this room makes me miss my bedroom in Philippines but this one is way bigger. "Happy to hear that. I think I must leave now so that you can relax" she was about to leave me when she stop at the door "Oh and yeah Xander said you will have dinner with him within 3hours. don't worry darling you still have time relax. So just relax first" and close the door. I suddenly miss my parents, I don't know when will this arrange marriage end but I will make sure that everything will be fine soon for our company. I roam around the room and still amaze by it, it has a huge toilet which you can fit one more bed inside, a bathub and a big closet room. I feel really exhausted of today's event so I soaked myself in the bathub and it feels really relaxing "we will talk about things after we arrive in my house"  He's words kept repeating in my mind I think that's the reason why he wants to have dinner together to clarify things with me. Oh God please help me.  My eyes get heavy and heavier then suddenly my vision become dark.

"ANNA!! open the fucking door!" I hear a man's voice in my dream."Anna, darling please open the door. You making us worried!!"  then an old woman's voice."Xander I think we should use the spare key" "Ok get it". What's wrong? What's happening?"Anna please open the door" Wait is am I having a dream or no? Realization hit when someone called my name again "Fuck Anna" its Xander's voice. I slowly open my eyes and got shock that I'm still here in bathub soaking. Shit! I fell asleep I didn't even noticed it. I was about to stand to get out of the thub when the door hang open and releases Amanda and oh god Xander. "Shit!" I can't help but curse when I see Xander looking at me with not even one piece of clothing. I immediately grab the towel and wrap it around. 'Gosh this is so embarrasing Anna' ."What the hell are you doing here?!" I shouted just to divert his eyes to other object. "Am the one who must ask you that" he fired back annoyed. "we've been knocking on your door for an hour and no one even answer, we thought that something bad happen to you darling" Amanda look so worried as she speak.Wait what? an hour? how long did I sleep? I didn't hear any knock on my door. " Oh....I'm....I'm sorry I suddenly fell asleep" I stuttered feeling uncomfortable with the gaze Xander giving me. "If you want to suicide do it in other place not in my house" Xander snap with darken eyes and emotionless expression then leave. " He's just worried about you darling that's why he's acting like that" Amanda said with a genuine smile. Tsk....never thought he's capable of that. "your dinner is ready.Come out whenever your ready"Amanda added then go out.

I'm done preparing myself and went out of my room to eat dinner. I saw Xander is already there eating his food so I go forward and sit across him. I still feel embarrased about what happened earlier. Gosh did he see me naked? I can't even look at him I feel my blood is running to my cheeks of embarrasment. We eat in silent and everytime I'm around him I  feel awkward. "Embarrassed of what happened?" he said with a smirk on his face. I lift up my face and it make us to have eye contact so divert my eyes immidiately. "What are you talking about?" I ask innocently acting like nothing happened."You know it yourself what happened earlier.Sleeping in a tub for an hour and seeing you nake-" "stop it!!" gosh I think my cheeks are so red right now. So it means he actually see me naked? Gosh!! 'don't ever sleep in  tub for an hour Anna!' I murmured to my self He seems amuse with my reaction and laugh a bit. "you want to clarify something right? then lets talk about now" trying to divert the conversation he just shrug it off. "I'm tired lets talk about it next time" he's done eating and was about to leave then stop "I like what I see though" 

Shit!!!
