Coraline's POV
"Cory what if we get adopted?" My younger (by 30 seconds) sister
asked me. "Pffft like that's gonna happen! Everyone these days only want whiny 3 year olds" I saw rolling my eyes at the thought of this generation. "I know.......but what if?" Riley asks me once more. "Then I would be extremely thankful!"

"ANDERSONS!!!!!!! SOMEONE WANTS TO INTERVIEW YALL FOR SOME REASON!!!" Ms. Madrid said very harshly causing Riley to whimper. "It's okay Riles ignore her. Let's go see our, maybe future parents" that sentence cheered her up slightly. "Okay.."
Riley and I got off of our bunk beds and ran down the stairs to greet them.

*sigh* "here are the Andersons" ms. Madrid told the couple. The female of the couple had dark brown shoulder length hair and her skin was soft and clear with not one dent nor, scratch. And the male of the couple had perfect hair which looked like it had too much hairspray, he had dimples and pretty light brown eyes. "Hello girls! My name is Lisa and to my right is my husband James!" The lady said very sternly. "Sup!" My sister Riley exclaimed which caused her to get diss improving glares from the couples. "It's a pleasure to meet mr and mrs......" I said trying to set a good example. "Workingham! Mr and mrs workingham" James informed. Lisa tugged on James sleeve to whisper something in his ear while glaring at Riley. Riley and I looked at each other worriedly. "Alright, um we would like to adopt Coraline, just Coraline." Lisa said smiling. "Ugh okay" ms. Madrid said. "Wait no! I'm not leaving my twin sister!!! If you want me you have to take the both of us!" I yelled not accepting them. "Fine! Just be worthless orphans your whole lives!" Lisa exclaimed leaving. Those few harsh words caused Riley to run upstairs crying. I follow closely behind her. " Riley don't worry about them we will get adopted!" I tried to cheer up my sister. "When Cory!!?!? In 1,000,000 years!?!?" Riley yelled obviously upset. "I don't know......" I said giving up on trying to be positive. Riley laid down on her bed sobbing I laid next to her hugging her. Sleep took over the both of us.

Riley's POV

I woke up to the sound of rain pounding on the roof which sounded a lot like foot steps running.....it kinda reminds me of the sounds I'd hear every time Cory and I used to make while running away from our abusive parents.
~flash back~
"Cory I'm scared!" "Don't be it'll be okay! We'll run away....to an orphanage and we'll get adopted by a lovely couple!" Cory said quickly packing our things in a suitcase. "Okay......" I whispered quietly tearing up a bit "hey! Don't cry, craft!" Cory chirped trying to brighten up the mood. Hah dan and phil reference. "I wonder what dan and phil would think of us?" I thought out loud. "Now isn't the time to think about Dan and Phil" Cory giggled still packing. "I love you" "love you too" my sister said pulling me into a hug. "Lets go" I took a deep breath and nodded.

~end of flash back~

I was now in tears. I looked to my side everyone was asleep and by everyone I mean Cory, Taylor, and Olivia. Taylor is our roommate along with Olivia as well. Ms. Madrid came in and whispered to me "Riley, some wants to interview you and your sister" she said weirdly kind. "Oh okay thank you for informing me, I will wake my sister and let her know" I said trying to be kind. She nodded and left. "Pssst...Coraline" I said trying not to wake the other girls. "What....." she said quietly. "Someone wants to interview us!" I whisper screamed "wait, really!!" She loudly
"Shut up you idiots!!!!!" Taylor exclaimed finally waking up "it's 6:30, go to sleep!" Taylor said "can't! Gonna get  interviewed!!!" Cory exclaimed excitedly. Olivia woke up. "Really! Luckies!! I wanna get adopted!" Olivia exclaimed happily. "They're never gonna get adopted liv they're just getting interviewed." Taylor said tiredly
"Well at least people consider us" Cory said giggling rolling her eyes which caused me to laugh. "Whatever" Taylor said. "Well good luck guys! Hopefully y'all get adopted!!!" Olivia chirped "thank you liv" Cory and I said at the same time.
