Raphael's Point of View:

"Calm down," I ordered myself as my youngest brother continued ta try and soothe me, "Ya can't be there for Blue if ya fall apart. Get it together, Raph, and keep it together. Leo and ours babies are countin' on ya."

I breathed in deeply as Mikey rubbed at my arms as my eyes went back ta my still mate. Blue still looked determined, even in this unnatural sleep and I came ta tha realization that Donnie was right. Donnie was absolutely right! Leo would never leave me alone ta raise tha Imps on my own.

"My son?" Master Splinter asked as he placed a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm good," I answered as I straightened in my seat while Mikey backed away, "We're all goin' ta be just fine."

"Damn straight," Donnie whispered as I looked up at him, "LH and I will keep Leo safe, Raph. Just…just have faith."

Faith? Faith. I would never give up on Blue and our babies. I had plenty of faith in Leo. I stroked a hand over one of my mate's cheeks.

"Take all of my strength, Baby," I whispered down ta Blue, "I'm here for ya. I ain't goin' anywhere."

"Not even to pee?" Mikey asked before cryin' out in surprise when Donnie slapped him in tha back of tha head, "Geez, I was just asking!"

Leave it ta Mikey ta lighten tha mood, if only for a moment, but I kept my word ta my mate, stay next ta Leo at all times, I did. I didn't leave that room not once. Donnie was kind enough ta set up a toilet in tha lab within a closeted area in a matter of minutes. He even said he was plannin' on installin' this new restroom for himself when he was caught up in an experiment and already had assembled all tha parts months ago, but had never began tha project. My family was tha best and made sure that I was as comfortable as possible while I watched over Blue. I was beyond thankful for all tha support

"Can Blue hear me?" I questioned tha next day after LH and Donnie checked Leo's and tha twins' vitals and declared all three as doin' well, "Do ya think he can hear that I'm still close just like I promised that I would be?"

"I am sure Leonardo can," LH agreed, "There is no scientific evidence that a person can hear loved ones in a deep sleep or coma, but enough people around the world have been able to tell their loved ones, once awake, that they did in fact hear them. I think if anyone can focus and hear a voice in this state, then your mate could."

"I concur," Donnie nodded out, "I think hearing you close would be calming for Leo, Raph. How about I get some books for you to read? I'm sure that the Imps would love to hear their other daddy's voice too."

"Tha babies will hear me?" I demanded feelin' a little excited as both LH and Donnie nodded at me, "Get me those books, Don, and…and thanks."

"You are very welcome," Donnie answered before leavin' ta do his task without any mushy sentimental words that would make me feel uncomfortable.

Donnie always knew tha right way ta handle with me since I was a bit of a prickly turtle ta get along with. That set up a routine for me as I waited over tha long hours. I spoke ta and read ta my mate as tha days passed. I read books that Leo would love. I read books that my mate and I had selected for our twins. I did everythin' I could ta try and keep Blue's mind active and calm.

"You are doing well, Raphael," Father complimented me one evenin' as he kept my mate and I company.

"I wish I could do more," I whined softly as I glared angrily at tha IV's that marred my mate's hand, "I still hate this, Father."

"I as well, my son," Sensei agreed, "But as I have said before, there are some things that are out of our control. LH was right in this suggestion. Leonardo's system is much more stable now that he is in this state. I want him to be able to raise his children and I fear we would have lost your mate if he hadn't made this decision."
