Our ocean

I walked atop the water as it waved back and forth. With each step ripples spread across the vast ocean, never to be seen again. Others walk along, spreading their ripples and being pushed ever so slightly by mine. My influence with each step caused the others to change their path. For some of them, these motions were small and had I not witnessed them, may have not even been noticed. Others however were washed away by a mighty wave, just from my one step. As rain sets in the ripples become vibrant. Some of us fly across these waters, with smiles that made the rain appear soft while others were pulled under by the tides. This ocean is my ocean. It is yours, and ours. This ocean, we call life.
