Love of a Lifetime

Chapter 4

Demi's POV

I woke up to the smell of waffles. I went downstairs and found Lexi in the kitchen. I snuck up behind her, hugged her, and whispered, "Don't burn the house down.."  She was making coffee and when she finished she turned around and looked me in the eye.
"Can I help you?" She said it with a smirk on her face and I couldn't help myself. I kissed her. She immediately kissed back. We kissed for what seemed like eternity, but was only a few seconds.
"Lexi.. You are the most amazing person I've met. I know I'm leaving to finish my tour, but maybe uhm.. Do you want to uhm.. Be my..." She kissed me, cutting me off.
"Miss Demetria Lovato, I would love to be your girlfriend." We hugged and sat down to eat.

A few days had passed and I was back on tour. I knew Lexi had to go back to school, so she couldn't go on tour with me, but only a month and a half left, and she's all mine. No more tour. Sure she'll be in school, but I already have a plan.
A few weeks later..

It's only been a few weeks but I miss Lexi like crazy. We skype every night, usually before and after my show. I can't wait to be home. I got a text and excitedly read it seeing that it was from Lexi.
"Maybe it isn't the best idea for us to be together... I mean, I don't want to be the reason you get hate"

My smile instantly faded as I quickly opened twitter. I saw all the hateful remarks people were making and I was fumid. If these fans didn't stop soon, I would put a stop to it. I say fans because my Lovatics wouldn't hate on her or I. I quickly tweeted, "Don't make hateful things about me or whoever it is I choose to be with" I tweeted it and text Lexi back.
"I would never leave you no matter how much hate people give me. You're my world and nobody is going to ruin that! I love you!♥"

She didn't reply for a few hours, but I figured it was school.
