Until We Meet Again.

Too Dark

Jack's pov:

It was about 10:30 and I was getting sleepy. I told Mark and he told me to go in his bed and he'd sleep on the couch, which I finally agreed to. I climbed in the bed and instantly fell asleep.

Mark's pov:

I started to fall asleep until I heard a noise, then I realized how dark it was. I wanted to turn on the TV but the remote was too far away and I couldn't get it. I was too scared to get up. I don't know why I'm so scared but the thing is, I've always been scared of the dark ever since I was a kid. Every time it was extremely dark, it made me so nervous that I had to use the bathroom, which of course I was nervous. I curled up and hid my face in the pillow but I still really needed to go to the bathroom. I felt around for my phone for some light but then I realized it was on the dinning room table. Wow Mark, just wow. I had to use the bathroom so bad. I tried to hold it but I really couldn't. I got up walking slowly to the bathroom. When I heard a noise again, I ran into my room and curled up next to Jack. "Mark, you ok?" "No." "Mark, are you crying?" "No... maybe." "What's up?" "You remember I'm scared of the dark right?" "Oh my gosh Mark, you still haven't gotten over that?" "No and I have to use the bathroom." "Mark you better be brave, how old are you like 26?" "27." "Oh yeah boy, you better go by yourself, I am not taking you to the bathroom." "You can wait outside the door." "No." "Why?" "Mark just go freaking pee your a freaking adult, you should be able to go on your own." "Ok, fine." I got up, out of the bed and walked slowly out the door. It was only across the hall. I ran really quick and then slammed the door. I then locked it and wondered, "What am I gonna do when I get out? Shoot, I might as well just sleep in here." Then I kind of laughed to myself. When I was done, I opened the door slowly and looked around. I turned off the light quickly and run to the TV. I find the remote on the stand and turn the TV on. I put the volume on mute and then go back on the couch. I finally fall asleep after a while of watching what was on the television.
