Chapter 9

Bruno’s P.O.V

“Come on Bruno, no one will know” they all begged me in chorus.

”It’s crazy you guys, what if someone notices? I can’t screw this up” I reply to them.

”Is a small club, there aren’t too many people. Plus Jessica will go with a different car and we’ll meet there” Ryan says trying to convince me to go out tonight, spend some time in a club. But I think is a bit dangerous to be there with Jessica. I see her there looking like a goddess with pleading eyes to join them.

”Ok, fine” I finally say. I see how happy they are. Barbs comes downstairs in some skinny jeans and a green top that makes her eyes look even more green. Just amazing. She’s wearing some heels not so high. At least she’s not taller than me.

”Don’t tell me you’re coming with us looking like…uh that” Jessica says to her. I give Jess a death stare. I love her, but sometimes I don’t agree with her actions. Barbs starts going upstairs which means she doesn’t wanna come at all. I follow her.

”Hey, hey stop” I say till I make her stop. ”Please don’t listen to her, you look amazing..” , “please don’t start quoting JTWYA. It doesn’t work with me” she says cutting me off.

”Please come with us” I plead her. ”No, I hate clubbing anyway.” She says pissed now.”

Ok fine, if you wanna stay here stay, but I’m warning you, I’m going to lock you in a room with GERONIMO” I say emphasizing the last word, knowing she’s afraid of him.

”Are you blackmailing me? “ she asks me with her eyebrow raised. ”If that’s what you call it” I reply winking.

”Ughh fine, I hate you” she says making her way back to the guys. ”That’s the spirit” I say joking.

Barbara’s P.O.V

I can’t believe I let Bruno convince me. I mean I love dancing yes, but I hate clubbing. Try to explain that. Maybe Bruno was right when he said I was too weird. We were there already and Jessica came with a friend in a different car, so no one will suspect.

I see everyone hit the dance floor already. I didn’t feel like dancing. I stood there alone. I looked on my right which was opposite of the dance floor and I see Bruno shaking hands with a friend. I can see he’s happy to see that friend here. It’s so easy to tell when Bruno is content or not. At least I do it easily. Then I saw something I didn’t want to see. The friend Bruno was talking with was Josh. Freaking great. I pray for him not to notice me but too late. Josh saw me and I saw he put a smile on his face when he did so .Just like I was afraid he left Bruno and made his way towards me.

”It’s so great to see you again” he says smiling ear to ear. ”Too bad I can’t say the same” I say annoyed by his presence. I don’t know  why but this guy gives me a bad vibe. Since the night when he almost talked bad about Bruno behind his back. I mean if he doesn’t have a problem talking bad behind his friend’s back what kind of person can he be? He laughs getting the hint. God I don’t know what’s so funny.

”Come on. Don’t be like this. Give me a chance, get to know me, you won’t regret it” he says to me trying to be sweet. But every gesture that he does annoys me more.

”Not interested” I say looking away. ”You really think you can get rid of me so easily?” he asks me winking. Ughh. I roll my eyes.

”Is there a problem?” Bruno asked as he came close to us. ”No”, ”Yes” Josh and I say at the same time. In that moment I see someone entering the club. Unbelievable. It’s Matt. He sees me and leaves his friends to come next to me.
