I’d questioned Ci all day about the things Miya liked to do in her spare time. I really wanted Miya and me to be better siblings towards each other and make this a better situation for us. Truth is I really…. Nah, I can’t really tell anybody. But I need to… I walked down to Ci’s room to talk to Roc. He was my best friend. Im sure I could tell him my secret. I went and sat down on Ci’s window ledge and stared at Roc. Well I wasn’t trying to-

Roc- bro why are you staring at me like that?

Me- my bad I was thinking about Miya.

Roc[eyes wide]- huh?

Me- no no not like that.

Roc[looking at me weird]- ohh… ok. What you want?

Me- why I gotta want something?

Roc- because I know you. So what is it?

Me- I don’t want anything. I need to talk to you though.

Roc[raises eye brow]- about what..

I paused before I told him. I was so nervous.

Me[deep breath]- i…I like miya…

Roc[eyes wide]- YOU LIKE MI-

I leapt up and slammed my hand against his mouth. I should’ve called Prince. He regained his composure and tried again.

Roc[whispering]- You like Miya? Since when did you like her? that’s your sister for Christ sakes!

Me- no she isn’t!

Roc[shaking his head]- man I don’t know Craig.. Maybe we should tell Ci.

Ci- tell Ci what?

I looked up to see her standing in her door way waiting for us to come clean. I wanted to sock Roc in his throat right about now because that nigga can’t whisper for shit. I hurried up and made something up.

Me- I told him he should tell you about the necklace hes about to buy for you so you can pick out one you like instead of him doing it on his own since you picky as hell.

Her eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store. Roc cut his eyes at me hard as hell.

Ci- omg really Roc? [dives on the bed to kiss his cheek]

Roc[eyes still cut at Craig]- yea Ci.

Ci- ok let me finish getting ready [leaves room]

Roc- I should beat your ass [throws pillow at craigs head]

Me- that’s what your loud ass gets. Anyways, im going to tell her today so I need help planning a day out with her.

Roc- this is oh so wrong but I guess ill help you.

I showed Roc the list of Miya’s favorite things to do and we came up with a fun filled day. I just hope she enjoys it.
