Ci's p.o.v.

I felt so bad for laughing at Jazmyn not realizing it was her water that broke instead "/.. when we got to the hospital, I grabbed her phone, & texted everyone to let them know she was in labor. I waited for her mom to come then I left to go get Cordell from daycare. When I was walking in, Miya was walking out with Avah. Even though they've always went to the same daycare, this was the first time I ever ran into her over the month she moved out. She grabbed me before I walked inside & pulled me to the side.

"Ci, Kaila said that Craig is supposed to be signing his rights over soon & idk what to do. You won't answer any of my calls or texts. I need you."

"Man Miya what did I tell you the day you brought Craig to my house? I told you they were up to something sneaky & now you're even living with those snakes."

"I... I actually don't anymore. I had to move in with Kaila." "So you're back in CP?"

"No... She moved into her own place.""Oh ok. Well I have to go now because its 3 & you know how Cordell gets when he knows its time to go.

"She chuckled a bit as I began to walk into the door then she stopped me. "Ci, could you just please help me out? Just one more time."

"No Miya. I'm sorry but I just can't."

Miya's p.o.v.

I knew that if I could show Ci I was capable of solving my own problems, that she would agree to help me. & with her help, mom & Mr. Craig were on our side as well. We were currently coming up with a game plan to set Craig up into not signing over his rights. Of course I was dumb as hell for taking him off of child support & signing over his rights would keep him from having to but what Ci & I had up our sleeves, he'd be back taking care of Avah in no time. We were sitting in Mr. Craig's office coming up with the plan. See, the two of them didn't know Craig planned on signing away his rights.

"So I did some research and since Craig is still a minor, he can't sign away his rights without parental consent."

I said as I pulled out the print out I'd gotten for proof.

"Let's try something first ya know, give Craig the benefit of the doubt."

I sighed at Mr. Craig. Just when I thought he was on our side, he proved he wasn't. Or did he?

"Ok. What do you have in mind?"

"Just try to talk to him. He's upstairs in his room."

I swallowed my pride & walked to his room. The whole time, my legs were trembling & I had butterflies like crazy. I felt nervous but then I remembered everything that he'd put me through thus far & pushed all that aside & it was replaced with anger. I knocked on his door. He asked who is was so I told him it was me & he told me to come in.
