You looked on dully as the avengers fought to get to you. You were currently tied up in a chair that was currently sending shock waves through your body. Something that would soon cause your death.
The smell of blood and fear filled the air. The avengers were failing. You could feel the electric pulses get stronger by each passing moment.
Tears welled up as the villain caressed your cheek.
"Now now Y/N, don't cry. Everything is going to be all right." The man said.
You glared angrily up at him. It was a nightmare. You were just an average girl who happened to be in love with none other than Captain America.
The villian figured using you for ransom would cause the avengers to go in a frenzy. And boy was he right. In no less than a couple of hours they had recklessly barged in, guns blazing.
The henchmen were being pushed back as they slowly advanced.
"Don't worry Y/N! I'm coming!" Steve shouted. You merely blinked at him as pain rippled through your body.
Tears flowed down your cheek as the pain got more intense.
"He-lp me." You said with a strained voice.
The villain growled in annoyance and cranked up the amp. A weak gasped escaped your lips as your body began to erupt in convulsions.
The avengers see this, and as if something snapped, they all began to fight harder and faster. The villian let out a hearty laugh.
"Seems I have underestimated these people. Time for me to retreat. Goodbye darling, do remember me." With a final look, he turns up the amp as much as it could go and ran.
Letting out a scream, you close your eyes and accepted the inevitable.
Suddenly strong hands undo your restraints and yank you from the chair. Opening your eyes again, you noticed that all the henchmen had been defeated.
"Go! Catch him!" Steve hollared at the others. They all wordlessly nod and take off.
"Y/N, please no." He whisper with a trembling voice.
"Steve..." your body still jerking with convulsions, you reach up and cup Steve's cheek. A sad smile spreads across your lips as your body goes limp.
Your eyes roll to the back of your head and your hand falls to your side.
"No .. no no no .." Steve's eyes began to well up with tears as he hugged your body to his chest.
"Please, Y/N, no!"
