"Iris, do you seriously think that bringing coffee to your dad is going to help lift the silent treatment he's been giving you?" Lydia walked beside Iris, they bring her dad coffee as a peace offering I didn't think it would work but she couldn't argue with her best friend even if she tried.

The brunette kept walking not giving Lydia a glance, just focusing on the street ahead of her, "Well not with that attitude"

"Optimism was never my strong suit," Lydia replied back.

The two were bickering while entering the station. Iris was hoping her dad would give her some sort of emotion instead of the cold shoulder. Lydia said she would come along for moral support but in reality she didn't want to run the shop with Natalie, the new worker who can't seem to make a cappuccino to save her life. Lydia wondered why she hired her in the first place, but then remembered that no one else had shown up for the job interview.

"Coffee break,--" Iris said approaching 2 out of the 3 most important men in her life. "—thought we'd bring Central City's finest Java over to Central City's finest" Iris finished off, in some effort to butter up her dad.

Detective West's demeanor shifted when he heard his daughters voice. He clearly wasn't ready to forgive as he dismissed Iris' kind gesture.

Iris exhaled deeply, watching her dad walk away. She turned around, her close friends following not far behind. "Dad has been mad at me ever since I told him about me and Eddie"

"You mean he's mad at you because you didn't tell him," Lydia corrected. Barry nodded, agreeing with her statement.

Iris scoffed, "uh.. First of all it sounds like your both taking his side"

"-that's exactly what it sounds like" Lydia commented.

Iris looked at the her, shaking her head and continued on, "Barry, you know his 'i'm not talking to you but I have a bag full of judgment looks I'll try on you later?' face."

Barry grimaced, probably was remembering some memories of his teenage years, but knowing Barry Allen, he probably just stayed up too long looking under a microscope, "Yeah I've been on the receiving end of those a few times."

Iris continued on, "Speaking of communication, or lack thereof after all these journalism classes, I got an idea"

"Huh"

"I started a blog" she said excitedly.

"Tell him about what Iris," Lydia smirked, she was still trying to figure out Barry's secret and if he really is the red streak saving people.

Barry looked at her weirdly and turned his attention to Iris. "What? Is it about you brownie obsession. Because you probably shouldn't broadcast that."
