A Porsche was slowly making its way towards Izzy and Kat. Before they had time to make something out of it, the car had stopped right in front of them. As soon as the darkened window rolled down, Kat recognised the person in the driver's seat. She was thrilled to bits, yet couldn't help but wonder if he actually recognised her and whether her make up was messed up or not, all the while fixing her hair with swift moves with the help of her small hands which were admittedly compatible with her height. Thank god, she was wearing heels. Well, that wasn't necessarily a good thing during their little chasing session with the dog, but this was far more important.

Of course it was the loving grandson, Arden. "Kat?" he asked with his apparently expensive sun glasses still on. "Hi Arden." she said. Then, regretted it immediately because, duh, she wasn't supposed to make it obvious that she could even recognise him with sun glasses on, but it was too late for that and besides, Arden doesn't have the capacity to be able to think of something like that. "What are you doing here?" he asked. Not much, just getting lost while looking for your grandma's house in the hope of finding you there and/or making her love me. The usual. "Our friend recently moved around here and we were trying to get to the grocery store, except we got lost." Izzy replied before Kat could think up a cool way to answer. Kat sometimes forgets that Izzy and Arden are childhood friends.

Prince charming with the red Porsche, instead of a white horse - Kat would absolutely despise this metaphor - dropped them off at the grocery shop. He offered to wait outside, in order to take them back to Ice's but Kat rejected, though she still wasn't entirely sure if they'd actually find their way back. Pride.

As Kat and Izzy were about to step inside, tailgated with the humiliating thought of Kat's first time meeting Arden being after she was lost and chased by dogs, Arden called from behind the wheel. She wondered if she'd left something in the car, which would've made things all the more humiliating. She looked back to see that he had taken off his sun-glasses and was smirking at her. "What are you doing on Friday?"

She felt like smiling until her jaw broke to pieces, but inside she told herself to keep calm and not overreact. "No plans, yet. Why?" she acted as if she didn't get what he were implying. "Well, I thought maybe we could grab a bite?" and finally the date Kat - and literally everyone around her - had waited 2 years for, was happening. "Sure." she accepted, gracefully. "Cool, I'll text you later." Arden said as he put on his sun-glasses and drove off. Kat wanted to scream, but she kept herself together until they bought the chocolates and found their way back to Ice's.

"I thought you guys had been raped to death." Luke said as he opened the mahogany door with the demeanor of a house owner. Izzy started to laugh, although it wasn't really that funny. Kat didn't actually scream, because she's Kat, but she was smiling from ear-to-ear. "Oh okay, that one's been raped, I guess. And liked it" Luke addressed Kat. "Arden asked her out." Izzy said in between giggles. "Whaaat?!" Ice, who was stood a step behind, exclaimed, while Luke's jaw dropped.

Izzy and Kat began explaining their own perspectives and occasionally jumped into each other's stories to add certain details and opinions, the way they always do when they're excited about gossip. Before reacting to the long-awaited date proposal, Ice chose to react to something else, "Wait. Wait. You went for a granny hunt without me, in MY neighbourhood?! That was MY idea at first. And MY neighbourhood and MY neighbour." Ice continued attitudinising for the whole day and she was most likely to keep bringing the subject up for the rest of their lives. She didn't like missing all the fun, at all.
