Quas wasn't gone for long and when he returned Kieran was with him.. "One of you going to tell me what is going on?" I asked irked as I shook my head. I was getting tired of always being kept in the dark.

Kieran flicked his head back and Quas returned to the hallway. "Your scars are gone," Kieran said as he walked over to me.

"What?" I whispered as he sat down on the bed and ran his hand along my back gently.

I shivered at his touch, but didn't ask him to stop. His touch made my hairs stand up and his skin felt like fire. It was a strange sensation, but it was one so good it almost made me moan in pleasure. "Your back doesn't have a mark on it... Do you have healing abilities?"

If I wasn't so shocked I wouldn't have laughed. "I can make things cold, that's it, I swear..." I whispered, I was freaking out slightly. The cuts from Someone were deep and less than a week old; it wasn't possible for them to be gone.

From out in the hallway I heard a familiar voice call out, "That may have been my doing."

My gaze shot to the door and I stood up, the blanket still pressed against my chest. My chest began to tighten and tears prickled my eyes. "D-Did you hear that?" I breathed knowing I had to be hearing things.

From the hall there was the sound of bare feet on stone, slowly walking forward. My heart lept from my chest and broke all at the same time. It was impossible," You aren't dreaming baby, it's me." Erik said softly.

It looked like him, sounded like him, but it couldn't be. Either way I couldn't help myself from being hopeful and relieved that he was alive. I sprinted across the room and threw my arms around his neck. Erik shifted awkwardly and I realized it was because his hands were cuffed in front of him, but either way he managed to get his arms around me. "Tasnia get away from him!" Kieran shouted in fear.

I ignored his warnings as I pressed my body harder against Erik's. His skin felt warm and I could feel his heart racing against mine. "I'm sorry," I whispered as tears rolled down my cheeks freely.

"I don't blame you, I told you that." He smiled before leaning in and pressing his lips gently against mine.

After thinking you killed someone and having them come back from the dead, something as simple as a kiss could make your entire body come to life. It felt like electricity running through my veins. The kiss started gentle, but one thing lead to another and soon all my sense were completely overwhelmed by him. The smell of the ocean, his taste on my lips, his deep breaths for air every time our lips separated for that brief second, his fingers gently running over my bare back. I was so entranced by being near him that the rest of the world faded away: Kieran's voice telling Erik to let go of me, the sting of Erik's iron cuffs as they brushed my back and burned my skin.

The same must have been true for Erik because soon he was kissing me harder, deeper, our bodies pressed so tightly together there that it was as if he never left me. I didn't know how much I needed him until now; he was my oxygen.

The world came crashing back down too soon as I felt a hand on my shoulder and Erik was jerked away from me. "Tasnia what in God's name are you doing?" Kieran shouted almost directly in my ears.

His voice rang through me and I froze, "Fuck off," I finally cursed as I curled up again Erik, my head resting against his chest.

"Tasnia, he is an unknown Fae. He could be dangerous!" Kieran continued to try and reason with me, but I wouldn't have it.

I scoffed at the mere suggestion that Erik was a Fae. "He's human, Kieran, he's my boyfriend." I paused and frowned, "Was my boyfriend?" I questioned looking up at Erik. All feelings I once had for Kieran had completely faded and now he felt more like a nuisance since he ruined my reunion with Erik.

Erik smiled down at me, one so warm it made my annoyance at Kieran fade away. "It's okay baby, he's telling the truth." He said gently before looking up and chuckling. "Guess I got some explaining to do, eh?" Just like that, the good warm feelings were gone.

So, Erik's not dead, sorry for lying about that one too, lol

So, Erik's not dead, sorry for lying about that one too, lol. Not only is Erik not dead, he is also not human. Just when we thought things were making sense, eh?

(Yes, I am Canadian, I do say eh, as so do my characters now, lol).
