11:00pm
Dustin lies on the floor of the cave, staring into the water motionless. So many questions lingered in his mind; What pulled Heather into the water? Is she alive? What lives down here? Am I safe?
Suddenly, a shadow drifts past Dustin. He clenches his gun in his hand and aims it at the area the shadow came from. Without making a noise, Dustin swiftly moves closer. He meets the edge of the cave wall and sees another passage way, leading to a glowing light. He follows the light and ends up at the bottom of an abandoned elevator, it's metal shell still intact.
A slight creak is heard from above him and Dustin points his gun up the shaft.
"Whoever took Heather, is up there." He thinks. "And I intend to find out who."
Dustin takes the strap of the gun and places it around his neck, he then begins to climb up the elevator shaft to follow this mysterious person. Maybe they will lead him to Heather.
As he reaches the top, Dustin looks around and sees nothing but a small opening in the wall.
"Can't turn back now." He thinks, "I've come too far."
Stepping into the small hole, which he can just about fit into, Dustin begins to get chills. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.
Clank
Dustin kicks something with his large boot. He bends down and picks it up, discovering it is in fact a lighter. Dustin kisses it and attempts to light it. He flicks it once, nothing, he flicks it twice, nothing. Finally the third time he flicks it, it lights. Immediately as he lights his way through the cave, he feels someone watching him.
His lighter burns out.
"Shit." He swears, trying to turn it back on.
Luckily, when he does turn it back on, Dustin is too focused on the lighter to notice the two white eyes staring at him from behind a wooden panel. Perhaps if he did notice, he would've turned back and gotten out unharmed.
