Lorian packed up the rest of the camp gear with Rose.

"That's the last of it" said Lorian as he threw the pack around his shoulders.

" Where to next"? Asked Rose.

" To see an old friend of mine , He's a blacksmith that makes the best weapons and armor." answered Lorian.

" But you don't have a need for a weapon, your arm magically conjures one "

" Indeed, but it's not for me, it's for you"

" I never had a weapon in my life let alone used one!"

" You'll be Fine"

Rose looked down.

"Come on, we have a way ahead of us so we better get going"

Rose nodded. She grabbed her pack and started off with Lorian.

They walked down the earthen path laid out by others before them.

Rose looked at Lorian. "What was your father like?"

Lorian remained silent. Rose looked down at her feet as she walked. She remembered what it was like losing loved ones. Rose tugged lorians pack.

" I told you my story, so tell me yours."

Lorian looked at her and sighed.

" The father that I remember was a caring man. He always took in consideration of all the people in his kingdom. He even still made time for me. He taught me himself all the things that I should know about being a king. He taught me to care like he did. "

A tear fell down lorians cheek.  Rose hugged him tightly.

" I'm sorry, I shouldn't have made you tell"

" It's alright, it's nice to know someone cares and can understand what it's like."

Rose let go of Lorian.

" We should keep going"

Rose nodded in agreement.

They both continued down the beaten path once more.
