5. "Say what you have to say and die"

You all decided to continue with regular missions to gain more strength and stability in the team.

Training was more challenging than usual, but you felt how each one of you got stronger by the day.

On the training field, Hoseok was helping Yoongi improve his shooting.

"Looking good, hyung", Hoseok commented as Yoongi shot the bullseye directly.

Yoongi reloaded the gun for another shot and took position.
You admired the hard work he was putting into getting better.

Jimin used to be the best person for the field since he could handle a gun very well. But since he was gone, Taehyung and you were pretty much the only ones to take over.
Jungkook was good at everything but he was rather used as a second sniper.

"Y/N, you want to practice with me?", Taehyung broke your thoughts.
He was wrapping some bandages over his hands and knuckles for boxing, which let you know that he wanted to practice fighting with you.

"Sure", you said and prepared yourself as well.

You stood facing each other with a fighting posture.
Before he even said to start, his leg was already almost at your left ear.

With a quick reaction, you blocked it with your arm and went in for a low punch.

None of you had mercy with each other while practicing. How would you have ever gotten stronger otherwise?

In the end, Taehyung was on the ground, holding his leg in pain.

"Agh you didn't have to go for that technique again", he bawled.

You had kicked his calf a little too strong...
"I win again", you smirked, taking off the bandages.

"Y/N", he sighed as he got up slowly.
"You know that Jimin is dangerous and wants to kill us, don't you?"

He had caught you off guard with that.
You remembered what Jimin had said about having something special in mind for killing Taehyung.

"Yes, I am aware of that", you muttered.

"You...really think you can get him back?", Taehyung nearly whispered.

You scanned his expression suspiciously.
"We will get him back. Don't you think so too?"

The brunette pursed his lips.
"Of course."

He started taking off his bandages as well, while he stood awfully close to you.
"Jimin probably wanted to set me aside from the others to kill me personally."

Now that he did mention it, that was true. Why did Jimin want to kill Taehyung seperately?
"He did say that."

Taehyung looked away.
"I would hate myself too if I was him."
