Saturday night was boring so I just slept all day. Soon Sunday passed by and I had school the next day. A part of me wanted to see Trey but the other part just wanted me to stay as far away from him as possible.

Monday morning do the obvious get dressed for school and the rest of the bull. I went  straight to class that day. We watched a movie in ELA today.

Trey never showed up. So I just had a feeling that he was just gonna show up later. We had about three classes together, which was ela, art, and chorus.

He didn't show up at lunch. So I just thought maybe he's sick or maybe he's avoiding me. The day ended and once I got home I took a walk to clear my mind.

I went to river park and sat on the swing set. The tree that me and Trey went under for safety. The tree I first realized that Trey meant something to me.

The tree were I fell for trey's looks his.. his charms.. his personality, the way he looked at me. That tree was being cut down. I walked over to one of the construction workers and asked why the tree was getting cut down.

"The tree is being cut down for space to make a new playground".

His words made me think the tree were we met was being cut for speace to make something new. What if we were drifting Apart.

So many thoughts came to my mind so I ran home. I was tired so I just went to bed.

Trey's pov
I didn't care to go to school for the entire week so I stayed home today. I went to my dads  man cave took all of his beers. I drank them turned on some music and let the pain fade away.

My mom and dad have been on a business trip for about two weeks now. They won't be back until December 5th. So I had time to enjoy my freedom without them nagging at me.

I was feeling better so I decided to treat myself. I went out spend my money on clothes. I met a girl named jade. She had dark brown hair with dark golden brown eyes.

I met her in a deli store. We bumped into each other. "Oh sorry I'm so clumsy". She giggles, it was cute. "Oh no, you're fine".

"Number 47". My order was done. I got my food and left as I walked out of the door she put her hand out and gave me a handshake. "It was nice meeting you". She said.

She walked away and gave me a wink. In my hand was a napkin with her number on it. I got home stared at the napkin debating if I should call or not.

If you're wondering if I called. I did, we had already made plans for next Wednesday. She was 17 just like me. She went to river park high.
