After a few days I had healed. Not fully, but enough that I could finally walk. I looked outside from one of the towers in my mansion and sighed in relief. No humans were coming to finish the job, so I teleported into the living room. I walked around, stumbling and falling a bit at times (which was embarrassing because I'm not used to that). Firestar was there to help me out thankfully. She looked at me and asked me, "Have you ever been hurt like this before? You don't seem to be used to this." I looked at her and shook my head no, then said, "No, not really. Normally a human doesn't live long enough to do even close to this much damage to me." Firestar looked at me. "Oh, I see... it's probably my fault you're in this condition..." She said with a slight frown on her face. I looked up at her. "Hey, don't be like that. It's not your fault at all! I brought this all on myself, if anyone is to blame it would probably be me." I said with concern. Seeing my friend blame herself like that, I wondered why she would think something that harsh. Did she care about me that much that she would blame herself for my mistakes? I continued to ponder this for a while until one of my Endermen, Colin, rushed through the doors and interrupted my thoughts completely. He even scared the hell out of Firestar so much that she had teleported into one of the rooms and when she poked out to see it was just Colin, she walked out all embarrassed. I asked Colin what was up and why he had to make a such an entrance. He looked at me and started to talk so fast that I could barely understand him. I looked at and Colin and said, "Ok, Colin... calm down now. Please explain to me what's going on and please tell me a little slower... my head is killing me." Colin took a deep breath before saying, "The humans are getting ready to attack us again. They threaten to destroy the entire kingdom, children and all, if you don't come out and fight them." I paused for a moment and thought to myself, 'Already? But I have not even finished healing. This won't be good if I get damaged and die. I have no airs to the throne to take my place... since I haven't really found anyone to love or to have a family with!' Suddenly, an idea popped into my head. I looked at Colin, then at Firestar and said, "I'm going out there. If I die, she will take my throne... until further notice, I want every guard to protect her with their lives!" Colin looked at me with a sad expression. "But, Herobrine... you're hurt! You can't really expect to live through this fight in these conditions, do you? You're going against at least 100... maybe even more. You could barely get through 40 of them when you were in perfect condition. What makes you think you can beat them in this condition?" I looked at him and sighed, "I'll be fine, I have a plan." Firestar seemed upset. She looked up at me and said, "But what if you don't live? What am I going to do without my only friend?" I looked at her and said, "If I die, at least I die a hero and not a coward with a destroyed kingdom." It seemed like she was about to cry. She then hugged me and said, "Please try to live for me. I don't want to be alone again..." I stood still in shock for a moment, I hadn't been hugged since I was a child. I then hugged back and gave her a reassuring smile, "I'll be back soon." I then looked at Colin, "Tell Simon to get the dragons. I'm sure they will be happy to help me." I then grabbed my cloak and sword and ran out the door.
