chapter 12-may i have this dance

me and Firestar talked a bit more during the morning, she told me more about herself like who raised her and stuff as did I talk about myself as well a bit more but not too much though. a thought appeared in my head 'maybe i should show her my castle she would probably like it' I smirked a bit but not an unfriendly one "how would you like to see my castle? it's really nice there and has to be one of the best places I own." she smiled a bit after I finished saying that and replied by saying "sure I would love to see it" I looked at her and smiled then lightly grabbed her arm and teleported to my castle. we got to my castle and i showed her around happily showing her my throne room, and everything in the castle and around it. we ended up in an empty dusty ballroom that has not been used in years since I never had party's since they never really interested me that much, Firestar seemed to love it though which was good I guess though I don't really see how this place could interest her, this room always seemed boring to me and has never interested me. Firestar looked at me "Herobrine are you ok you seem kinda zoned out there" I looked at her "uh....yeah i'm fine just thinking is all" she smiled a bit "oh? about what?" I paused for a moment not knowing what to say 'ok hero play it cool don't tell her how you feel or about you kissing her in her sleep last night who know's how the fuck she'll react' I thought to my self while at the same time trying to think of an answer 'wait I'm in a ball room...' an idea hit me and I gave a little friendly smirk "it's nothing important...may I have this dance?" she looked at me a little confusedly "but the place is empty and there's no music or party going on" I chuckled a bit "star you don't need music or a party to dance...just think of the rhythm in your head" I smiled a bit as I gave my hand out to her "well what do you say shall we?" she smiled and lightly took my hand and I lightly pulled her closer to me to make it easier for her seeing that she was going for the classical ball dance and we stared to dance. despite me feeling a little awkward from only ever dancing once in a party my parent's had a long time ago I enjoyed it mostly because Firestar was there, she danced gracefully seemingly enjoying herself as well, which was good because I wouldn't want her to be bored because that would suck to do something that made you bored. a few hours later we slowly finished off the dance with a little graceful dip and I slowly brought her back up, "that was really fun we should do that again other time" Firestar said with a happy smile on her face, I smiled and responded to her "indeed we will one day, I enjoyed it as well" as I lightly helped her to her feet. I showed her around a bit more happily before we had to leave to go back home since my butlers and other subjects that chose to live in my mansion since they have no were else to go get really worried about me if i'm not home at around 2:30. when we got home I sat on the couch and she sat next to me and we talked for a nice while, then she asked me a question "hero are you dating someone?" I looked at her "what no...why are you asking me that?" she smiled a bit "i just thought since your such a nice guy when your not trying to be intimidating and since your a king that you would of been taken" I smiled "heh nope I'm single" she looked at me and smiled a bit more "ok I was just wondering is all...sorry if that was random..." she frowned a bit, I lightly put my hand on her shoulder as a way to comfort her "hey its fine star don't worry about it" she looked up at me "ok..." she said a little sleepily "why don't you get some rest? you look tired" I lightly said to her, she nodded "ok...i am fairly tired after all that time in the castle" and then walked upstairs. I walked around thinking to myself silently and walked to my room after a while before my vision started to go crappy due to me being tired and got on my bed and just laid there thinking about the dance and stars question and everything that happened yesterday.
