Ch.6

Mavis and I began getting ready at 5:00. Mavis wore black leggings and an oversized panda sweater and black combat boots and I wore regular dark blue skinny jeans with a crop top that says 'Im just being a unicorn' and then I wore a black leather jacket since I was wearing a crop top with skinny jeans then I put on some black flats. Mavis helped me do my hair. She straightened my hair, then added natural looking beach waves to my shoulder length blonde hair, pinning a few pieces back. When she finished my hair, she did hers. She curled her elbow length brown hair. We both sprayed our hair with hair spray so the curls wouldn't fall out.

We both had natural makeup (AKA foundation, black cat-eye eyeliner, dramatic mascara, red lipstick, and clear lipgloss).

Aaron rang the bell at 7:00. Mavis screamed. "Ah! No! He can't be here yet! I haven't found a matching necklace!"

"Mav, it's a movie theater, not a red carpet event!" I laughed as I pulled her to the door where Aaron was waiting. She went silent in awe as soon as she laid eyes on him. So did he when he saw her.

"Mavis! You look.... amazing!" He breathed. She blushed deeply. "And you look.... awsome!" She gasped. Which made him blush cherry red as well.

Aaron led us to his car, a red convertible, which Mavis went crazy over, and opened the doors for us. "Why thankyou kind sir!" Mavis chirped. "And, your welcome fair maiden!" He smiled kindly. Ah! They're so cute! The feels!

As I crawled into the backseat I noticed another boy about my age. He had fair blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. I turned to him and held out my hand. "Hi my name's Skyler!" I smile sweetly.

"Hi i'm Austin!" He grinned back, shaking my hand. He was totes adorbs!

I couldn't help but smile widely at his cuteness.

"What's that dopey smile for Sky?" Mavis asked smirking at me. I whipped my head to her. "No reason Mavis!" I said through clenched teeth. She laughed as Aaron pulled into the movie theater.

We walked inside and the cashier greeted us. "Four tickets for Paranormal Activity Four please." Aaron said. The cashier handed us our tickets, took our snack orders, and we walked into the theater. Mavis and Aaron sat in the far back, away from everyone, while Austin and I sat in the middle.

Halfway through the movie, when Alex was in the garage and the car started up, I heard Mavis scream, and I buried my face in Austin's shoulder. He put his arms around me protectively. I stayed snuggled into his arms the rest of the movie, occasionally turning my face into his chest to hide from the images on the big screen.

When the movie ended I felt like I could finally breath again. Austin let me go and we walked to the back to go find Aaron and Mavis only to see the two happily making out....

"OMG! Mavis! Aaron! The movie is over let's go!" I laughed. They both turned as red as tomatoes, then Mavis giggled nervously while getting up to leave. Aaron did the same.

We got home quickly as we drove in comfortable silence. Aaron hugged Mavis and she kissed him on the cheek as she went inside. Austin and I hugged bye and made plans to have lunch together Sunday and I walked inside. I sighed and slid down the door smiling.

CAN YOU SAY BEST NIGHT EVER!?
