Ch.4

"Mavis! For the last time, there aren't anymore clues left to find in our dreams! You've analyzed everything from our phobia names to the rusty chains on the wall!" I said as we entered school two days later.

"First of all, the chains were mossy," she corrected me, "and second of all, there has to be something more!" She said enthusiastically.

I shrugged. "Okay. Go ahead of you want. I guess I can't stop you." I smiled.

"Nope! You can't!" She smiled back. We both laughed and the bell rang. As I unpacked my bag she waved and walked down to her locker.

Mavis and I walked to first hour together because our classes are right next to each other. We were almost to the doors when Aaron stopped us. And by us, I mean Mavis. He handed her a note, smiled, and walked away. Mavis turned to me silently squealing. I silent-screamed and covered my hand over my mouth.

"Move it on girls! This isn't the gossip hall!" Mrs.Jacobs yelled to us.

"Yes ma'am." I replied. "I'll see you at study hall!" I whispered to Mavis quickly.

"Kk!" She say stepping into her class. Ugh! French, here I come.

The bell rang signaling 3rd hour/study hall. I ran to the library and found Mavis waiting, and reading over the note with a goofy smile plastered on her face. I plopped down be side her.

"Well, what's it say?" I asked eagerly.

"It has his number! And he said he wants to go see a movie if i'm interested!" She squealed. "Well are you?" I teased. "Of course Sky!" She smiled fondly at the letter.

"So should we be looking for I don't know, phobia books or something?" I asked. "Oh yeah!" Mav answered and headed to the bookshelves. I sighed.

"And nerdy Mavis is back again!"
