Finding his gaze too intense for her liking, she looked down, not knowing what to do or what to say. The male brought her here against her will, saying that she will talk to him again whether she likes it or not. Now he's dictating what I should do? She thought.
"Speak for yourself," he muttered. Cassiopeia frowned and looked up, "I am the one who is supposed to tell you that. You are the one who brought me here."
He leaned against the wall and folded his arms against his chest. "Look, you have been ignoring everyone for a week now," Scorpius rolled his eyes. She scoffed at him, then.
"Does it matter?" she asked, in a matter of fact.
"Yes, it does."
"No, it does not."
"Does."
"Not."
"It does," he smirked at the feisty girl. God, is it weird that he missed this? The short lady frowned deeper at him again, "Fine. You win. What do you want me to say?" Glancing at her wrist watch, she noticed that the young man has been taking five minutes off their time – another five minutes and they will be late for their chore. Cassiopeia did not want that at all.
Scorpius rolled his eyes and grabbed her wrist. Then, a faint sound of unbuckling was heard. He removed her wrist watch and put it in the pocket of his coat. Before the lady can even protest about it, he spoke, "You can get it later, shorty. We still have a lot of time. Well, you still have a lot of time to listen to me."
Cassiopeia huffed and nodded, "So it was not me who would want to say something at all." He innocently looked at her in the eye, crouching down after nodding at her in agreement.
"First of all, I would like to apologize," he said with a rather soft voice. Scorpius felt heat rush up to his cheeks as he blushed. He never apologized, especially for something that he did not even do. He found it so embarrassing; he was supposed to be the cold, mysterious smoking guy and not this.. soft.
He looked down, feeling shy and embarrassed. When it felt like it was almost a minute when she had not been responding yet, he looked at her, asking her to say something with his eyes. "Okay. I do not understand. Were you apologizing for dragging me here?" she asked.
He sighed in frustration, knowing that this is not going to work without so much patience to the girl. "Yes. Well, besides that, I want to apologize because of my friend being a dick to you last week," he almost rolled his eyes at that. Scorpius is not the one who should be apologizing for the disaster his friend did to young lady. But, he knows that Corvus is not going to apologize any time soon. Plus, his guilt is already doing him good by going to his dark side and destroying him whole. Nice.
Seeing the girl sigh made him feel different things. Was she going to accept his apology? Or was she going to run away and ignore the whole school body forever?
