Your first few hours went by quickly. You talked with a few of your old friends that just so happened to be in your advanced classes but other than that you hardly knew anyone. The time came for lunch so you made your way back to your locker and did your combination.

**12-37-08** you said to yourself. You grabbed your lunch box and made your way to the cafeteria.

"Hey!" You heard a voice behind you call out to you.

"Y/N! Wait up!" They called once more.

You turn around and see Louis running towards you. You speed up a little but his hand grabs your wrist pulling you back. You both stop walking.

"Hi." You say not really pleased to see him.

"You're still gonna sit with me right?" He asked confused.

"Ya I guess." You respond.

"You don't seem very pleased to see me..." He said confused once again as to why you weren't your normal talkative self.

"Ya I am it's just-" You said then paused.

"Just what?" He asked.

"I don't know I... Nevermind."

"No please. Y/N. Tell me. What's wrong?"

You explain to him how you saw him wrapping his arm around the girl and how you just couldn't stand it. He mouthed 'oh' silently as you explained your story.

"Listen Y/N, I don't like her." He explained. "It's just for showing. Like you know most people expect all the football players to be dating the hot cheerleaders but that's not always the case. Well for me anyways. I know you may not believe this but I don't really like any of the guys I play football with. They're all buff, and manly, and no offense to them but they're all jerks and I'd never let any of them hurt you even if it means getting kicked off the team and I just need you to believe that."

You thought long and hard about what he had told you. You looked at him and he was staring at the ground. You felt tears start to roll down your cheeks. You were still standing in the middle of the hall. He looked up and saw you crying. He had never seen you like this. No one has. He stepped towards you and pulled you in for a hug and you suddenly felt your heart melt knowing it was too good to be true.

"Are you ok?" He asks sounding completely worried.

You just nod your head in response.
