The Return Of Elizabeth: A Ciel x Reader Fanfic

Chapter 1: Lizzie's Return:

Your Pov:

     It's been a few weeks after the interview and everything has gone back to normal. The kids are even starting school today! I was so proud of them. Both Ciel and I were. "Ciel baby, it's time to get up. We have to help the kids get ready for school." I say softly, trying to shake him gently. Eventually, Ciel's eyes fluttered open.

     "I'm up. I'm up." He replied while yawning. "What time is it?" He asks as he covers his purple eye with his black eyepatch. I just giggle and kiss his cheek before getting out of bed myself and getting dressed. Suddenly, Ciel groans. "It's only 6:35 in the morning! Why did we have to wake up this early." He complains but, gets up anyway and goes up behind me, wrapping his arms around me and kissing my neck sweetly.

     "Ciel... Come on... You know I always fall for that..." I groan before pushing him away. "We need to get the kids ready for their first day of first grade."

     "But, isn't it going to be the same as preschool and kindergarten, love?" Ciel asks, raising an eyebrow.

     "No! It's completely different! This is the first time they'll be spending the whole day at school!" I replied kind of annoyed that Ciel didn't make a bigger issue out of this. Ciel just chuckled and walked away to get ready for the day. Or at least, I hope that's what he was doing. I let a smile float to my face after a few minutes though. "I should be happy. All the drama and hardships are over. The kids are safe. Ciel is safe. I'm safe." I say to myself before heading downstairs where Mey-Rin and Finny were trying to get (S/N) and (D/N) to eat some food before getting ready to go to school.

   "But, you'll get sick if you don't eat," Mey-Rin argued.

    "But, we aren't hungry Auntie Mey-Rin! We're just too excited!" (S/N) had answered back and (D/N) nodded in agreement. Just before Finny could argue back, I butted in.

     "How about this... You two go get ready and then after you're done, you can have a quick breakfast before leaving, ok?" I asked, patting (S/N)'s navy blue hair. They nod quickly and rush upstairs to get ready, almost knocking over poor Ciel in the process.

     "What's the rush?!" Ciel asks after he regains his footing.

     "They're excited for their first day of first grade, master Ciel," Finny explains. Ciel nods and walks down the stairs, grabbing a piece of toast. I giggle softly and kiss his cheek again before going upstairs and helping (S/N) and (D/N) get ready. Once they were ready, had gotten a little bit of breakfast in their stomachs, and headed off to school, they manor had become quiet. The kids usually brought life and laughter to the manor but, without them here, it was quiet and dull.

    "Ciel," I call to him, looking up from my book as I look over at his desk. He was currently working on paperwork as he waited for a new mission from the queen, herself.

     "Hmm?" He asks, never looking up from his work.

    "Can we do something fun? It's really boring around here without (S/N) and (D/N)." I complain as I put my book down. I really did miss them. Maybe doing something will keep my mind off them for a while.

     "What do you want to do?" He asks, still not looking up. Just before I could respond, there was a knock at the door. "Come in." Ciel calls and Sebastian walks in. "Yes, Sebastian?" Ciel asks, finally looking up and raising an eyebrow in curiosity at his butler. It definitely wasn't time for afternoon tea yet. It was only 11:00 o'clock in the morning.

     "Young Master, there is someone who wants to see you and if I may warn you..." Sebastian started before he was cut off by a girl who barged into the room. She was wearing a pink dress and she had blonde pigtails.

     "Oh, Ciel! How much I've missed you, my darling boy!" She screeched happily, hugging Ciel as tightly as she could and practically choking him.

     Once Ciel got a better look at her, his eye widened in shock as he screamed out, "Lady Elizabeth?!"
