The Sandwich

I was sitting in my room eating a ham and cheese sandwich when all of a sudden...

A man wearing a orange blanket robe bursts through my window!

"Oi mate!" he chuckled "That's a neat sandwich ya got there!"

The man grabbed the sandwich and shoved the whole thing down his throat.

"Why would you do that?" I muttered

"Because I felt like it!"

"What be your name?" I asked

"The name's Zeus, and I come from a magical place called your dumpster!"

No wonder he reeked of rotten tomatoes! The man, or should I say Zeus was short, about as tall as me. He was wearing an old pair of my torn jeans and two different shoes. He looked and smelled like he hadn't taken a shower for about five months.

"What am I gonna do now?" I scolded "You ate my ham sandwich, and now I can't make another one because I conveniently ran out of bread and ham!"

"Don't worry, I have an idea!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! I'll go back in time, and I'll stop myself from stealing your sandwich!"

"And how are you going to go back in time!?"

"Follow me."

I followed Zeus outside and he took me to the dumpster.

"Umm... It's just an ordinary dumpst-"

"Hold on just a second!"

"WHACK!!!" Zeus kicked the dumpster.

"uhhhh ..."

All of a sudden, the dumpster started to vibrate. Pink, blue and green lights started to flash from the lid. It started to hover in the air. Trash was being tossed everywhere. Then an enormous burst of light stabbed my eyes. So bright that I had to take my glasses off to see clearly. The light dimmed.

"Tada!" the man sang joyfully

"OH MY GOD IT'S THE TARDIS!!"

The tardis is a time machine from a show called "Doctor Who". It appears as a small phone booth but is way larger on the inside. The tardis can take you to the past, future and even different dimensions.

"No time for being excited, we have a sandwich to save!" Zeus declared.

Zeus shoved me in. Pressing a bunch of pretty blinking buttons. We were out in a flash. Literally. We went back to the time before zeus was about to smash through my window. Zeus lunged at past Zeus.

"I gotcha mate!" he shouted

All of a sudden, again, the world around us started to fade away. Houses were crumbling, skies were shattering. THE ENTIRE WORLD WAS COLLAPSING ON ITSE-
