     "Ugh... I..." Said the gray tom with uncertainty, deep within his veins he felt a pang to not trust her, after the things that other tom, Twistedgaze had said about her. As he jumped over a big tree root, he heard the sound of a water source further away from them. His tail suddenly hit some vines and tanggled between them, he then stumbbled onto the grass, landing face forward.

Comet stopped to a halt, she didn't even hold her laughter, even a few tears fell from her beautiful green eyes onto her face. The she-cat leaped beside Jackson as he got up all, he had closed his eyes forcefully to not get dirt in his eyes. Strangely, his fur didn't get dirty at all but nontheless, he complained from it with an, "Ewww!" and an annoyed thump on the grass.

Jackson quickly got to his paws and stared at Comet's eyes directly. "I don't trust you," he yelled with an infurated look. "after what that cat said! No way in a billion years!"

The light blue she-cat sighed, "Wanna know the whole story? From both sides..?" She asked quietly, all her amusement was gone, her eyes clouded up with something that wasn't guilt but more like sadness.

The curious young tom nodded, his scense for knowledge guided him to sit down and become quiet to listen, his tail was all curled up around his legs.

"As you know, my name is Comet, but that's just the name I gave myself after being exiled from the Clan territories. My original name.. was Skypelt, I used to be a DeathClan warrior.." Her words vanished clean before continueing. "Twistedgaze was right, I was a great warrior but he was completely wrong with the loyalty thing. And this is the part thar I know; when my brother, Snakwatcher, became leader he created the mother of all plots, the classic 'blame your sister' for something she didn't do thing." A faint growl came from her throat, not in threatening way, more like giving an angry stare at the ground.

Jackson felt some pitty for her as he quietly listened to her, but he urged to question the story, he wasn't the best at being repectful. "What happened?" He said inocently.

"My brother, Snakewatcher.. uh, Snakestar.. when he became leader of DeathClan, he blamed me about killing two kits and two of our finest warriors.. and everyone believed that son of a.." She forced to stop herself thinking what she was almost about to say. "He lied to the Clan! And lied to me! Mom, dad! Everyone around us believed him! And now," Her voice was bit cracked up, with tears in her eyes but from sadness. "now.. I'm alone, as a rogue to all.. even my family.."

The kittypet's mind whirled as he saw the she-cat curl up into a ball, whimpering from everything. He felt a shock of realization that this cat was not lying, someting in the way she told it, but he couldn't get a claw on it. Either way, he knew that Comet was not in right state of mind to even continue walking. He sat beside the sobbing cat, and pressed his muzzle on her flank for comfort, same with his tail. "I'll come, an adventure never killed anybody.."

The sun layed high in the afternoon sky with all its rays shining down on the grasslands. It was all so green and beautiful as the seasons changed from green-leaf to new-leaf, the flowers blossomed in the bushes and the clouds were so faint that they didn't interrupt the scenario with darkness at all.

Moons had gone by since the day Jackson and Comet had met. They became close friends soon enough, Comet even helped him in hunting practice and training. Jackson and Comet were like the Junkrat and Roadhog of the Clans, the Bonnie and Clyde in the rogues category, the Pizza and Interenet among loners...

{I'll stop now ;3}

They had traveled around the Clan borders in desperate attempts to find cats to become part of their group; can't be too alone.
