The group awoke the next morning thinking about what  will be there  next move. There were an uneven number of girls to boys  as there were  only five guys in the group as of last night. They were  all friends  before the sickness happened, the thirty of them staying  together and  doing there best to stay alive. They lost a lot of good  people along the  way but they still had each other hoping for a better  life somewhere  out there.

The boys consisted of as follows: Jeremy, at six  foot three he was a running  machine who had cardio for days. The reluctant leader who had no choice but to take over things after losing the only things he really cared about, and honestly could never live up to the image everyone wanted him to be.

Greg, at  five foot eleven the best  tracker as he was a Boy Scout as a kid  growing up making him kind of a jack of all trades when it came to surviving in the woods. He wasn't much of a leader like he thought Jeremy to, but always stuck by his friends no matter what came at them.

Henry, as short as he  was at five foot seven they called  him "the glue" as he was a lot wiser  then he led on and kept the group  sane with his optimism. However that seemed hard to find when the world was out to literally get you, and your friends keep dropping like flies.

Adam, the  muscle as he was ripped and  intimidating standing at a staggering six  foot five. Doing most of the heavy lifting while working alongside his best friend Jeremy, nothing scared him easily but that didn't mean he was completely immune to the affects this world threw in his direction.

Lastly Xavier,  an average height of five foot nine he was the cook and loyal friend to all that's it. He's the only one who knew how to cook food out of everyone in the lot, which is kind of sad when you think about it. Then again no one thought a zombie apocalypse would ravage and destroy society as they knew it.

The girls  consisted of Penny, the shy and caring one ready to help out when she could standing at five foot five. She didn't know how to do that much but the fact that she tried her best to contribute in any way she could felt enough for everyone.

Gretchen, at five foot three the genius of the group as she always had a plan of action no  matter what the situation called for. Lately she had been slipping and there are numerous factors to explain why she would be in such a slump, however her determination to over achieve makes a valuable asset.

Jessica, the "eye candy", standing at five  foot eight all she was really good for was being really hot but she did have her moments at times. Though those came far and between all the chaos that everyone else fought against, while she stood there dumbstruck twirling her hair.

Ashley, the hoarder keeping everything she  finds and taking inventory on an daily basis. Travelling her became a problem since she had the most stuff, and ninety percent of that happened to be useless garbage. It's not her fault that she is a hoarder, genetics after all, but recently Jeremy and everyone else were seeing her as more of a reliability than Jessica.!

Bridgette, scary and moody as any teenager can get going from one emotion to another on a whim, but a decent crack shot given the right weapon. That happened to be a sturdy bow and a throwing knife she stolen from a hunting store one summer day a few weeks before the out break.

Finally Sasha and Katy, the marksman sisters two years apart from one another and their mom being a cop taught them how to expertly use a gun. Usually they were the ones to go on supply runs, but that night they were on guard duty so the task fell on poor Jeremy's shoulders like everything did these days.

Gathered  around the now extinguished camp fire, Jeremy led the group  to talk  about what they all believed would be the best decision for  them.  Should they leave the spot one the forest and continue towards a  new  location, or risk staying another night.

It was Adam who spoke  first, "I think we should move," he said.  "We've been here longer than  most of our camps and its risky to keep  staying in one spot for too  long. Even with the makeshift gate anything  could happen."

"We should stay," Jessica interjected. "All of us have stayed here for a week and nothing has attacked us."

"Explain that to Danny," Penny said. "I'm with Adam we should move to a new location."

"Oh yea you would agree with Adam," Gretchen and Jessica argued in unison.

"And what is that supposed to mean?"

"Come on Penny you know."

"Alright  enough!" Jeremy yelled silencing the girls. "This isn't the  time to  being screwing around and acting like this is high school. That  shit is  over and probably will never come back. Now Gretchen and Jessica leave Penny alone she just lost her brother show some sympathy."

The  girls apologized to Penny and the rest of the group and let  everyone  else cast their vote. Henry, Greg, Katy, and Sasha agreed with  Adam on  leaving. Xavier, Ashley, Bridgette, and Gretchen sided with Jessica on staying.

The last vote was on Jeremy. He could make it a tie and  try to find  the best solution possible, or vote against Jessica and  help everyone  with packing up camp.

Before he could decide a  rustle in the bushes nearby caught  everyone's attention. Not even  seeing it a zombie flew out of the forest  and latched itself onto  Bridgette going to town on his morning  breakfast. Katy shot it in the head but the damage was done, Bridgette  was infected.

The shot  signaled the rest of a hoard onto the now out numbered group  of  friends. Jeremy's decision was made for him; it was time to leave.  But  who will make it out alive?
