The woman took several deep breaths in.
"Can I see that?" She asks softly. She needs to make sure it's the one that she left with her daughter.Victor passes her the box with a small sigh and then she smiles.
"This used to be mine.I can tell.I engraved my initials into it here."
Felicie raises her head.
"It's mine.Ive had it with me always. It can't be yours."
The woman gives a wry smile to Felicie.
"Yes,I passed it down to the next generation."
"That-that means you must be-you must be ....my mother!"
The woman nods."Donna,D'boar in the flesh.Come here you two!"
"No!"
Both children stepped back.
"Look, were sorry and all but we don't know you.You could be an axe murderer for all we know!"
A worried look replaced the look of joy on Doonas face. She thought her children would jump into her arms.Nodding slowly she laughed.
"You want proof? My mother used to be an amazing ballet dancer before her accident, before the fire.!"
Felicie hesitated and Victor could tell the woman had almost convinced her.He nodded at her and she hugged her mother.Donnas arms went round the girl.
Smiling happily she whispered
"My baby girl"
