Victor sat back separate from the bone crushing hug Donna was giving her daughter.
Meanwhile back at the ballet school Odette was listening to the radio.When she heard the children's voices she facepalmed.Of course they had gone to find their mother.Of course they had.And Odette had no uncertainties that Felicie and Victor had found her.
Suddenly the door burst open and Merante came into the room.
"Turn on the radio."
It wasn't a command but he said it with so much conviction that Odette moved without realising.As the radio blared out the childerens advert her hands flew to her mouth.
"It's them!They must have succeeded!"
Odette smiled.She knew that her daughter would reveal herself as soon as she heard the news.
Meanwhile, Felicie was suffocating by her mothers hug.
"Can't ....breath!...please let go!"
Immediately Donna let go.Her eyes searched for Victor,who was half hidden in the shadows of the room.
"Come here Oliver...I'm not going to harm you!"
When Victor didn't do anything Donna smiled gently and walked over to him.Placing her hands on his shoulders she looked into his eyes.
"I guess you want to know about your Mama.She was my best friend and she made me promise that if anything were to happen to you I was to take care of you.Your mamas name was Juliet,but everyone knew her as Julie.She had curly brown hair and wasn't afraid of anything much less what people thought of her.You and Felicie were very good friends which is why I left both of you together at the place in Brittany when I went to work overseas.But your mama died not long after you were born.The poor lad you were conceived with ran as soon as he knew she was pregnant with you.But when she was alive she loved you.You were her little bundle of joy! Oliver,you were her life."
Felicie watched as her best friend face broke into a huge smile.
"Well,at least I don't have to search for her any more!"
