Chapter 6

Eliza's POV

Thank god that it is Sunday. This means I get to spend the whole day with the boys. I could hear them all awake downstairs. I smiled to myself. I can’t believe it. 5 seconds of summer are here; in my house. It’s like a dream come true. I pulled myself out of bed and over to my bathroom and got into the shower. After I had finished I stepped out and wrapped a towel around my body and made my way back into my bedroom to find an outfit. I picked out purple skinny jeans and a black vest top. I pulled out a black hoodie to put over the top. After I had changed I made my way downstairs to find everyone in the kitchen.

“Good morning guys.” I said making my way over to the kettle and making myself a cup of tea.

“Good morning El.” Emma said smiling at me.

“Hey Eliza. It’s about time you woke up.” Ashton said looking at me.

“Shut up and leave me alone. I didn’t really sleep yesterday.” I said defending myself.

“We know. You told us.” Calum said smirking at me.

“Guys leave her alone.” Luke said making his way to my side. He wrapped his arm around my waist and I cuddled into his side.

“How did everyone sleep?” I asked looking around at everyone.

“Great thanks.” Michael said stuffing his face with cereal.

“Aren’t you going to eat anything?” Luke asked me.

“She never eats in the morning.” Emma answered for me.

“Why not?”

“I’m never hungry in the morning. I get hungry around 12ish” I answered shrugging my shoulders.

“What are we doing today?” Calum asked.

“Anything you boys want to.” Me and Emma answered.

We decided to travel into London and look around. I texted Becky asking if she wanted to come but she said she was busy with her family. Everyone went to get changed while I got my phone, purse and house keys shoving them into a black handbag. Once everyone had finished getting changed we made our way out to the car. I locked the door behind us and sat in the back again with Luke. While traveling we had the radio on and was singing along when we heard a familiar tune.

“OH I JUST WANNA TAKE YOU ANYWHERE THAT YOU LIKE. WE CAN GO OUT ANY DAY ANY NIGHT. BABY I’LL TAKE YOU TAKE YOU THERE. BABY I’LL TAKE YOU THERE YEAH” Me and Emma shouted at the top of our voices.

“I take it you two are one direction fans.” Calum stated.

“How did you guess?” I asked sarcastically.

Calum just laughed at me before looking back out of the window. We carried on singing loudly to the radio before we finally made it to London. We went everywhere we could. We basically did all the touristy stuff.

“Let’s go on the London eye.” Emma shouted before running over to it. We all ran after her and waited in line before we were allowed on. When we got off we decided to get some food. We made our way into the restaurant. A waitress saw us walk in and showed us to a table. She kept trying to flirt with Luke and to be honest I was getting jealous and I don’t know why. I mean it’s not like we are together or anything. Does this mean I have a crush on him? I sat in-between him and Emma. I think she noticed that I wasn’t happy with the waitress as she gave me a reassuring smile and squeezed my arm.

“Hello I’m Cindy and I will be your server today. Is there anything that I can get you?” She said mainly staring at Luke. I mean come on don’t make it obvious that you are staring.

“Yeah can I have a coke please?” Ashton said making her turn away from Luke. I saw him visibly relax and I smirked at Cindy.

“And me.” Michael said.

We all asked for a coke then ordered our food. We all talked while we waited for our food to come.

“She makes me uncomfortable.” Luke said picking at the table cloth.

“Who does?” Calum asked looking confused.

“That girl. Cindy.” Luke said looking up. I couldn’t help it. I burst out laughing. I don’t know why I found it so funny. It’s probably because she was basically throwing herself at him her but he doesn’t even like her.

“What’s so funny?” Ashton asked smiling at me.

“Nothing.” I answered when I had finally calmed down.

Cindy came back with the food and looked straight at Luke. I saw Luke shift uncomfortably and I decided to help him out. I moved closer to him and lay my head on his shoulder. I think he realised what I was doing because he put his arm around my shoulders and kissed the top of my head before resting his head on mine. Cindy glared at me before storming off and back into the kitchen.

“Thank you.” Luke said sighing in relief when she left.

“No problem.” I answered sitting up again and starting to eat.

Once we had finished our food we decided to head home. Again I was sat in the back with Luke, not that I mind. All that keeps going through my head is why was I jealous of that girl flirting with him? Maybe I like him, but if I do would he like me back? This is so confusing. How do I find out if he likes me to? I looked out the window and sighed.

“Everything okay?” Luke asked me.

“Yeah just thinking.” I answered smiling at him. He smiled back before I looked back of the window.

When we got back to my house, I asked Emma if I could speak to her alone.

“I don’t know what to do Kat. I mean today when that girl Cindy was flirting with Luke I got so jealous and I do not know why. Do you think I like him?” I asked her.

“I think you do. You should tell him.” She said coming and sitting beside me on my bed.

“But what if he doesn’t like me back? How will I know if he does?”

“We could get Ashton to talk to him and find out if he does.”

“That’s a good idea. Will you ask him to do that? Please.” I said lifting my head from my hands to look at her.

“Sure. I will do it now.” She said before making her way to the door.

“Thank you.” I said standing up and following her downstairs.
