Chapter 31

Luke’s POV

This cannot be happening. Why did she have to be here? I felt Eliza freeze next to me as she realised who the girl in front of us was. Why did she decide to show up now when I finally had Eliza back? I felt El let go of my hand and turned to watch her make her way down a corridor where Zayn and Perrie had gone. I turned back to Amber as she walked over to me and wrapped her arms around me. I hesitantly hugged her back before letting her go.

“Amber, what are you doing here?” I asked moving away from her.

“Well when you were texting me a few minutes ago and I told you I had a surprise for you, this was it. I decided to come down here and surprise you.” She said taking a step towards me.

“I thought I made it clear to you that we broke up. Remember I said that you and me was to get my mind off things, you were ok with that. It was only for fun and to help me forget something. I do not need to forget it now. I finally had everything back and you showing up has just ruined everything.” I tell her as I sit down and put my head into my hands. I might have just lost El again after everything. Yeah I know I shouldn’t have acted like that this morning when I left her but I had to talk to my mum and then Amber started to text me and I was just trying to get her to leave us alone. 

“I’m sorry Luke, I didn’t realise you was back with her.” She says as she comes to sit next to me.

“Didn’t you see what I put on Twitter?” I asked looking up at her. She shook her head before looking down at her hands.

“We got back together then the next day she had a call from the hospital saying that they mixed up her folder with someone else’s. We went for a scan and found out that she hadn’t lost the baby. We told the fans yesterday that she was pregnant. That’s why I needed you, to get my mind off losing the baby. I’m sorry that I used you like that but I love her so much and I can’t lose her again.” I tell her and look the way that Eliza had left. I saw her walking up the corridor with Zayn and Perrie.

“Do you want me to talk to her?” I heard Amber ask next to me.

“I don’t mind. She probably won’t listen to you though.” I watched as Amber stood up and walked towards Eliza. El stopped as soon as she saw Amber walking towards her.

“Um hi Eliza. I know you’re probably going to say no but can I speak to you?” Amber asked as Eliza just stared at her before slowly nodding. They both walked into a room and closed the door behind them.

Eliza’s POV

I sat down in a room with the girl sitting down opposite me. I don’t know her name and to be honest I don’t care at the minute, I just want to know what she has to say.

“First off my name is Amber. I just want to say I’m sorry for everything that has happened and I’m sorry that I showed up today. I didn’t know that you and Luke had gotten back together I just knew you came back on tour and thought he might need me. I know that sounds stupid but please let me explain. When Luke and I started this sort of relationship he made it clear to me that we weren’t actually together and I was just helping him to forget something. He didn’t tell me what he just said that he needed help. He has only just told me why he needed help to forget. He made it clear before he left Australia that me and him was over. I’m sorry but he is just so frightened to lose you again that I had to talk to you. Please don’t leave him again just because I’m a cow and couldn’t take the hint to leave him alone. I’m sorry for everything that I did to you.” She said before looking down at her hands. So he didn’t know that she was going to turn up? He wasn’t lying when he told me that he broke up with her. I let a small smile make its way onto my face.

“I’m not going to leave him again. Thank you for explaining everything to me.” I said causing her to look up at me.

“Thank you for letting me explain.” She said before standing up and following me to the door. We made our way out to see that Luke hadn’t moved from his spot and was staring down at a spot on the floor.

“Again I’m sorry for everything.” She said causing Luke to look up at us. She gave me a small wave before smiling at Luke. “Bye Luke.” She said before making her way out of the door. Luke stood up and made his way over to me.

“El I’m so sorry I had no idea she was coming here. I’m sorry for what I did this morning I was trying to tell my mum everything that had happened that’s why I left. I’m so sorry.” He said staring down into my eyes.

“It’s ok Luke I believe you. I just had to get away when I first saw her but she explained everything. I’m sorry for walking off.” I said before wrapping my arms around his torso and resting my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me before kissing my head.

“I’m just happy I haven’t lost you both again.” He said moving one of his hands to rest on my stomach.

“You won’t ever lose me.” I said before leaning up and attaching our lips together.
