♡02♡ The melody of the hidden moon

"So about that picture that you have sent me..." It was night time and Tengenji was just asking Tsukuyo about the picture he was sent. 

"Amazing, right? That's what your son would look like if you and Hoshitani combined your DNA." She was lying on the bed, lying on her front in her pajamas. Today had been a nice day and she's looking forward to tomorrow. 

"When you say it like that, it's kind of freaky." He looked at the picture on his phone once again, still finding the resemblance a little freaky. How could someone like that exist? "I can't unsee this thanks to you." 

"You're welcome~." 

"I wasn't thanking you!" Tengenji soon got in bed too. When he got under the covers, Tsukuyo got in with him and she rest her head on his chest. "You're so affectionate." 

"If you want me to be cold, I can do that too." 

"Funny." He cuddled her close, enjoying this very tender moment with her. "Tsukuyo," 

"Yes?" 

"Love you." 

"I'm glad you're happier." Before the new school term started, she went to social party events with Tengenji and his family quite often. When there, she noticed how there wasn't a lot of people who were the same age as Tengenji himself. She would secretly glance at him to see that he wasn't truly happy; the smile he had at these high class events weren't the same as the ones he showed when he's with his teammates or with her. "You honestly think I didn't notice your loneliness?" She ran her fingers through his soft hair, smiling when he looked comfortable...

Sighing heavily, Uozumi Asaki was getting a migraine due to Hoshitani Yuuta's, whose acting was as terrible as the D grade they marked for his performance during practice. 

"Happy" 

"Ha. Ha. Ha!" Hoshitani's laughter in happiness was so forced and cringey for Uozumi to handle. 

"Sadness." 

"Uweh~!" 

'Is that seriously how he cries...?' Uozumi changed the subject in emotion. 

"Angry." 

"Hey!" Even the shout sounded less threatening! 

"Ugh..." 

"U-um, d-did I mess up somewhere?" 

"Somewhere...?" Did Hoshitani really want him to answer that? "You messed up everywhere! Start over from a hundred million years ago!" 

"I-I'm sorry!" Hoshitani didn't mean to mess up! He tried to do it right, really! It's just every time he tried to do it right, he ended up getting it wrong without the intention of getting it wrong! He didn't mean to screw up and give Uozumi a headache. 

"To start with, you lack fundamental understanding of what it means to act." 

"Y-yes sir!"

"Don't respond so cheerfully! Geez, what have you been studying?"

Tsukuyo was walking down the hall at the same time. She saw Ugawa and Nayuki spying on Hoshitani, who was being handled by the angriest Ancient team member. 

"Tsukumin!" Ugawa called out in a whisper, "Shh! Hoshitani is getting grilled!" 

"What for?"
