Everyone knew about the heated argument Tengenji and Tsukuyo had gotten into. Thank god everyone could go home today! They didn't want to be in the same place as the source of drama!
"Has everyone packed their stuff?" Haruto asked everyone, "We'll be making our way back now."
"Hold on, where's Tsukuyo-san?" Nayuki asked with his arm up, "She's not here..." He regretted looking at Tengenji when he asked about her, the other was looking like a miserable man as if the world had come collapsing down on him.
"Tengenji..." Hoshitani felt bad for Tengenji, "If you want to talk, we can talk-"
"I don't want to talk."
"So you think staying quiet will make everything better again?" Tsukigami was annoyed because he saw Tsukuyo crying against Hoshitani. He hated seeing his childhood friend cry like that, he never wanted to see her cry, especially when someone close to him made her cry.
Tengenji turned around and glared at Tsukigami. However, the glare didn't last long because Kuga knocked him against the bus, gathering the front of his shirt in a small bundle.
"Shu! Don't hit him!" Toraishi warned Kuga, not wanting conflict to happen.
"Tsukuyo was crying her eyes out. She kept calling your name even after what happened. Why are you making yourself look like the victim here?"
Tengenji pushed Kuga away from him, "I don't care anymore."
"Tengenji-kun!" Nayuki stopped him getting into the bus, "Tsukuyo-san will never ever do anything to hurt you...I believe in her!"
"...believe what you want. I believe what I see and hear for myself. I can't believe...I can't believe I lost to that guy! Me, of all people!"
Kuga wondered who he was talking about...
Taiga opened the door to the spare room that was in the mansion. He heard she's sleeping in there after the heated argument last night. "Tsukuyo? C-can I come in?" He didn't hear a reply when he pressed his ear against the door. He opened the door to see Tsukuyo had her back to him.
Tsukuyo was holding her phone close to her heart, it was blaring out music very loudly. Her tears were still flowing from her violet eyes.
After hearing her sing such a heartfelt song, Taiga felt his heart clench in a painful way. He cleared his throat and he got her attention.
Tsukuyo panicked and she quickly wiped her eyes. "Sorry! Is everyone waiting for me?"
"Tsukuyo..."
"Sorry. I felt like singing. I thought I had more time. I'm ready to go!" She tried to smile even though she was clearly upset.
"You don't have to bottle it in."
Tsukuyo looked down at the floor, "I don't know why a lot of things happened all at once, but I do know one thing." She looked at him again, "I believe in him. There hasn't been a moment where I stopped believing in him. I want to know if he really hates me now...and if he still loves me. At the moment, all I can see is him hating me now."
Taiga could clearly see the love in her eyes for Tengenji. He was a little jealous of Tengenji, such a lovable girl and he went and argue with her.
"I'm sorry you had to see me like this."
"Don't be. You're going to be okay, I promise you." Taiga patted her head and he brought her into a small hug. "It's going to be okay."
