Back Again (Draft)

Chapter 4

I continue walking keeping my head straight "BROOK" I hear them yell "BROOK COME BACK" then a voice sticks out that makes me turn my head, its Jae, he's here. Jae runs to the front of the crowd "Brook please come back" he says "I'm not wanted so no, what's the point" I say turning my head back around and continue walking, I hear Mason talking with Jae then I hear them run off, I sigh and continue walking wincing slightly as the rough ground hurt my feet.

 I walk to an abandoned house two miles from the factory looks like this is home for a while I think and pick the lock on the door hmmm looks like this place has been abandoned for years now I think looking around who ever lived here must have been really poor I think looking at the torn wallpaper and tattered furniture, I look around the house and find three bedrooms, I walk in the first one and see a crib with a small change table and rocking horse poor baby growing up in a place like this I run my hand along the cribs edge poor little thing I walk out of the baby's room and into the next room must have been a toddler, there's a small Day bed, I remember having one like this, look a doll house I bend down and look inside, the furniture is all set up and 2 dolls are lying in beds Who ever had this must have loved it, it's in such good care, I haven't seen one in years then I look to the closet and I see blood stains ohh god, the poor darling must have been hurt, could it have been the parents or someone else hmmm I walk out of the room and into what I think is the parents room, then I see a small box on the side table beside the bed, just as I open it Jae runs in and grabs me.

The box falls from my hands "J..Jae" I say " SHES IN HERE MAN" Jae yells and Mason comes running in "don't you ever run off like that again, I swear I will kill you" he says wrapping his arms around me "M...Mason...what's going on" I ask because he's never this emotional "I.. we thought, we'd lost you" he says "you keep us sane brook, you keep all of us sane we need you" Jae says piping in "I..I don't know guys" I say "please Brook, please come back with us" Mason says with tears in his eyes "O...ok, ok I'll come back, I was just scarred Ryder was gonna hurt me" I say holding Mason calming him down "why'd he get all angry anyway" Jae asks looking around "M..My dads back" I say looking away, masons face goes pale and so does Jae's "W...what" Jae says looking at me "M..my dad... James....he's back" I say, Mason let's go and grabs my hand "we need to go, he could be anywhere" Jae says "right let's go" Mason says basically dragging me out the front door "Mason wait" I run back inside and grab the box "what's in there" Jae says starting the car "I have no idea I found it in the room we were just in, I don't know why but, I don't know I feel attached to it In some way" I say nervously "hmmm strange anyway we have to go, the others will be getting worried, and I'm loving the purple hair by the way" Jae says pulls out of the drive way and down the street.
