The girls were woken up at some ungodly hour and led outside by a bored looking guard, where they met up with the group of boys.

"You guys got a newbie, huh?" Asked a boy with dirty blond hair.

Tatsu put an arm around Kaliyah, "We sure did Anthony, and she's way cooler than you'll ever be!"

"Burnnn!" Another boy called with a laugh.

Anthony rolled his eyes, "Sure, what ever helps you sleep at night Tat."

"Stop ya' yappin' kids!" A guy called who looked suspiciously like Sir Butt, "And get in yer' order!"

"Asshole." A girl muttered. Kaliyah frowned, she wasn't one of the girls she met the other night. But before she could ask who the girl was, Sera pulled her by the back of her shirt so that Kaliyah was standing next to her.

The man eyed them, before spinning on his heel and pointing to a field that looked similar to the ones the army uses to train, or at least the ones they show in the movies Kaliyah's dad used to watch. He turned back to them with a eyebrow raised, "Well? Go ya' idiots!"

Everyone started running, Sera dragging Kaliyah after her. Once they got to the first part of the obstacle course, Sera had to let go of small girl, she glanced back at her with a small smile before crawling through the barbed wire. Fuck it, Kaliyah thought, and started to crawl through after her.

It didn't take to long to get through the wires, but that was definitely the easiest part of the course. Next a large wall stood, going up as far as they could see, and there was no way around it. So with a sigh, she started to climb up it, her hands clinging to the small crevices in the wall. After what felt like forever, she was at the top looking down at a pad that looked thinner than the old mattress she use to have at her house.

Kaliyah watched as the others jumped down, "Well?" A boy asked as he came up next to her, "You don't have all day, you know." And then he jumped.

Welp, to hell with it, she thought, and jumped down after him. It was odd, feeling the wind rush through her hair as she plummeted to her death. But then she was no longer falling. She was flying.

"KK8102 what the hell are you doing?!" The man from earlier yelled.

Kaliyah tried to reply, saying that she didn't know what she was doing, but all that came out was a rawr. Yells echoed around below her, making her head hurt.

She couldn't think.

How was I flying?

What was going on?

Why are so many people yelling?

Then, once more, her vision turned black.
